Abstract

본 발명은 물리적인 수법을 이용하여 탄소강 열연강대의 스케일을 연속적으로 제거하는 방법 및 설비에 관한 것으로서, 탄소강 열연강대의 스케일을 충분히 제거할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 우수한 열연강대의 표면조도를 확보할 수 있는 탄소강 열연강대의 스케일 제거방법 및 설비를 제공하고자 하는데, 그 목적이 있다. 본 발명은 탄소강 열연강대의 스케일을 연속적으로 제거하는 방법으로서, 열연강대의 스케일에 균열을 발생시키는 균열발생단계; 균열이 발생된 스케일을 숏 블라스팅하여 스케일을 제거하는 숏 블라스팅단계; 숏 블라스팅에 의해 제거되지 않은 잔류 스케일과 열연강대와의 결합력을 약화시킴과 동시에 상기 열연강대에 표면조도를 부여하도록 열연강대를 변형하는 강대변형단계; 및 변형된 열연강대를 연마하는 연마단계를 포함하여 구성되는 탄소강 열연강대 스케일의 제거방법 및 제거설비를 그 요지로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 종래의 산세 공정의 문제점을 해결할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 수요가의 가공 용도에 따른 표면조도 조정 및 표면 품질 향상, 라인 정지에 따른 제품 불량의 감소 등의 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
