〔第1実施形態〕
図1乃至図6は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置を説明するための図である。
図1は、本実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置が組み込まれる自動車用シートを概略的に示す斜視図である。
図1に示すように、本実施形態のヘッドレストサポート装置1は、自動車用シート2の上部に取り付けられて、ヘッドレスト3を支持する。通常、自動車用シート2にはシートバックの内部にフレーム5が配設されており、このフレーム5に左右一対のブラケット6、6が組み付けられている。各ブラケット6、6には支持孔6a、6aが形成されており、この支持孔6a、6a内にヘッドレストサポート装置1のヘッドレストサポート部材10、10がそれぞれ装着される。
図2に示すように、ヘッドレストサポート装置は、ヘッドレストサポート部材10と、ステーロックユニット20と、を含んでいる。
ヘッドレストサポート部材10は、頭部11と、当該頭部11の下面から延びる延出部12とを有している。このヘッドレストサポート部材10には、頭部11の上面に開口し、延出部12内の貫通するステー案内孔13が形成されている。図1に示したヘッドレスト3のステー4は、頭部11の開口からステー案内孔13に挿入される。
これらの図面に示すように、本実施形態のステーロック本体30は、基体31と、この基体31の上面(表面)に装着されるロックバー保持体41とを備えている。ステーロック本体30は、基体31及びロックバー保持体41を合成樹脂によって一体成形した樹脂成形品であり、基体31とロックバー保持体41とが可撓性を有するヒンジ部32を介して連結されている。このようにステーロック本体30を一体構造とすることで、当該部品の保管、搬送、取り扱い等が容易となり、生産性の向上を図ることができる。
さて、ステーロック本体30をヘッドレストサポート部材10の組込み凹部14内に嵌め込む際に、腕部42の外側面から突き出た係止爪48が組込み凹部14内の係合部16を乗り越える必要がある。そこで、弾性部45を形成し、この弾性部45を弾力的に撓ませることで、係止爪48が係合部16を乗り越えることができるようにしてある。
図3Aに示すように、まず基体31の収納溝36にロックバー21を収納配置する。その後、図3Bに示すように、ヒンジ部32を折り曲げて、基体31の表面にロックバー保持体41を装着する。このとき、ロックバー保持体41の位置決め凸部47が基体31の位置決め穴39に嵌合するとともに、保持用係止爪49が保持突起38aと係合して、基体31の表面へのロックバー保持体41の装着状態ががたつきなく保持される。
ステーロック本体30にロックバー21を組み込んだ後は、図3Cに示すように、ステーロック本体30の支持突起40にコイルばね22を取り付けて、ステーロックユニット20の組立てが完了する。
ステーロックユニット20は、ヘッドレストサポート部材10の組込み凹部14に嵌め込まれる(図2参照)。
ステーロックユニット20を嵌め込む際は、図5Aに示したステーロック本体30の案内突条50を、組込み凹部14内に形成したガイド部15と係合させ、ガイド部15に沿ってステーロック本体30が摺動するようにする。
〔第1変形例〕
図7Aは、本発明の第1実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置の第1変形例を示す平面図であり、図7Bは、図7AのX部を拡大して示す図である。
これらの図に示すように、ヘッドレストサポート装置1は、ステーロック本体30の基体31に形成する収納溝36の側端部周囲に、ロックバー21の端縁に残存するバリを収容する拡張空間36aを形成してもよい。通常、金属材を切断したとき端面にはバリが生じる。このバリが収納溝36の底面に接触していると、ロックバー21が収納溝36内で浮き上がったり、がたついたりするおそれがある。
しかし、図7Bに示すように拡張空間36aを設けることで、ロックバー21の端縁に残ったバリを除去することなく、当該バリを拡張空間36a内に収容することで、ロックバー21を収納溝36へ正しい姿勢で配置することができる。したがって、バリ取り作業が省略でき、生産性が向上する。
図8は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置の第2変形例を示す斜視図である。
図8に示すように、ヘッドレストサポート装置1は、ステーロック本体30の収納溝36の両側端部に形成するストッパを、収納溝36から突出した凸部37aにより形成することもできる。この凸部37aによっても、収納溝36に収納されたロックバー21の軸方向への移動を規制することができる。
図9は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置の第3変形例を示す斜視図である。
図9に示すように、ヘッドレストサポート装置1は、ロックバー保持体41の連結部43をなくし、各腕部42を別々に動かせるようにした構成としてもよい。すなわち、ロックバー保持体41は、基体31の収納溝36に収納したロックバー21を保持する機能を有した種々の形態に構成することができる。
なお、先の実施形態おいては、ステーロック本体30の基体31とロックバー保持体41をヒンジ部32で連結して一体の構成としたが、必要に応じてこれら各部材を別体に成形することもできる。
次に、本発明のヘッドレストサポート装置に係る第2実施形態について説明する。
図10乃至図12は、本発明の第2実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置を示す図である。
なお、第2実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置の構成要素のうち、先に示した第1実施形態に係るヘッドレストサポート装置と同一又は相当する構成要素については、同一符号を付して、詳細な説明は省略する。
すなわち、ロックバー保持体41において、弾性部45が形成された腕部42(両側部)は、展開状態における後端部のみならず前端部も連結されている。これら腕部42の前端部及び後端部をそれぞれ連結する連結部60、43は、ロックバー保持体41の剛性を高める剛性強化壁を構成している。
しかし、腕部42の一部が弾性部45を構成する結果、ロックバー保持体41は外力に対する剛性が小さく、例えば、水平面上の中心軸に対し任意の角度をもつ斜め方向から外力が作用したとき、弾性部45に曲げ応力が生じて曲げ変形してしまう。特に、先に示した第1実施形態のようにロックバー保持体41の前端部が自由端となって、ヒンジ部32だけで基体31と連結されているような構成では、弾性部45は簡単に曲げ変形してしまう。
弾性部45が曲げ変形すると、ロックバー保持体41にねじれが生じて、係止爪48が係合部16を乗り越えて相互間の係合状態が解除され、その結果、ヘッドレストサポート部材10の組込み凹部14からステーロックユニット20が抜け出してしまうおそれがある。
なお、補強凹部62と補強凸部64は、補強凹部61及び補強凸部63の両側方に設けてある。
例えば、本発明のステーロック本体を構成する基体とロックバー保持体は、ロックバーを収納する側が基体であって、収納されたロックバーを保持する側がロックバー保持体である。そして、これら各構成要素の位置関係に制限はなく、装着状態において基体を上側に、ロックバー保持体を下側に配置することも可能である。
Claims (7)
- ヘッドレストから下方へ延びるとともに、軸方向の適所に複数の係止部が形成されたステーと、
自動車用シートの背部に装着されるヘッドレストサポート部材と、
前記ヘッドレストサポート部材に組み込まれ、前記ステーをロックするステーロックユニットと、を備える自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置において、
前記ヘッドレストサポート部材は、
前記ステーが差し込まれるステー案内孔と、
外側面に開口するとともに内部で前記ステー案内孔へ交叉する方向から連通する組込み凹部と、を有し、
前記ステーロックユニットは、
前記組込み凹部へ摺動自在に嵌め込まれるとともに、前記ステー案内孔に差し込まれたステーを、前記組込み凹部内で挿通するための挿通孔が形成されたステーロック本体と、
前記挿通孔内に一部が露出するように前記ステーロック本体へ組み込まれ、当該露出部分が前記ステー案内孔に差し込まれた前記ステーの係止部に係合するロックバーと、
前記ロックバーの前記挿通孔内への露出部分が、前記ステー案内孔に差し込まれたステーに当接する方向へ、前記ステーロック本体を付勢する付勢部材と、を含み、
更に、前記ステーロック本体は、
前記ロックバーを収納配置するための収納溝が形成された基体と、
この基体の表面に装着されるロックバー保持体とを備え、
これら基体及びロックバー保持体のそれぞれに前記挿通孔が貫通して形成されており、
更に、前記収納溝は、前記基体の表面に前記ロックバー収納用の開口部が開口しており、
前記基体の表面に装着された前記ロックバー保持体が前記収納溝の開口部を塞いで、前記ロックバーを前記収納溝内に保持する構成であることを特徴とする自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。 - 前記基体とロックバー保持体とが可撓性を有するヒンジ部を介して連結された構成であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。
- 前記ヘッドレストサポート部材の組込み凹部内には、前記ロックバー保持体の抜けを規制する係合部が形成してあり、
前記ロックバー保持体の両側部には、弾力的に撓む弾性部が形成してあり、これら弾性部の外側面に係止爪が突き出して形成されており、
更に、前記ロックバー保持体は、前記弾性部が形成された両側部の前端相互及び後端相互がそれぞれ連結部によって連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。 - 前記基体又はロックバー保持体の前部に操作部が形成されており、
前記ロックバー保持体及び基体の相互間には、前記操作部の近傍に、当該操作部への引張力の作用に対して互いに当接して抵抗する凹凸形状の補強部が形成してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。 - 前記ヘッドレストサポート部材には、前記組込み凹部の内面に前記ステーロック本体を摺動案内するガイド部が形成されており、
前記基体の表面に装着されたロックバー保持体には、前記ヘッドレストサポート部材のガイド部に摺動する案内突条が形成されており、
当該案内突条は、前記ヘッドレストサポート部材の組込み凹部内に嵌め込まれた状態にて、前記収納溝と交叉する部位を通過して摺動方向に延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。 - 前記ロックバー保持体には、前記案内突条の対応位置であって、且つ前記基体の表面に装着した状態にあって前記収納溝内のロックバーと対向する位置に、当該ロックバーと当接する押圧突起が形成してあることを特徴とする請求項5に記載した自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。
- 前記収納溝の側端部周囲には、前記ロックバーの端縁に残存するバリを収容する拡張空間が形成してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した自動車用シートのヘッドレストサポート装置。
