Definitions
- the present invention relates to a novel polylactic acid resin, a polylactic acid resin composition, a molded article thereof, and a method for producing the polylactic acid resin.
- the present invention also relates to a polylactic acid-based resin, a polylactic acid-based resin composition, and molded articles thereof having improved transparency, crystallization speed, and heat resistance.
- polylactic acid has a limitation in application development because it is hard and brittle and has a low crystallization rate and low heat resistance.
- the softening temperature is less than 60 ° C., it has been pointed out that it tends to cause whitening, deformation, and the like in an everyday use environment.
- Patent Document 1 describes that addition of a phosphoric acid ester metal salt, hydrous magnesium silicate or the like as a nucleating agent is effective.
- a nucleating agent when such a nucleating agent is used, there is a drawback that transparency is impaired.
- talc generally used is within the practical range only from the viewpoint of crystallization speed, but for that purpose, the addition amount is often required to be 1% or more, and transparency, which is an inherent characteristic of polylactic acid. There is a fault that damages.
- Patent Document 2 describes a method of adding at least one selected from aliphatic carboxylic acid amides, aliphatic carboxylates, aliphatic alcohols and aliphatic carboxylic acid esters as nucleating agents as transparent nucleating agents.
- the crystallinity was 33% and the haze was 6.5%, and a result having sufficient crystallinity and transparency was not obtained.
- Patent Document 3 describes a method using polylactic acid and an inorganic filler using a compound having a specific functional group as an initiator. However, in this method, although slip property was improved, transparency could not be ensured by adding an inorganic filler.
- Patent Document 4 shows block copolymerization of polyolefins such as polyethylene and propylene and polylactic acid, but there is no description regarding transparency, and in particular, there is no mention of transparency at high crystallinity. Furthermore, since the olefin block copolymer used in Patent Document 4 uses a complicated and sophisticated reaction, it is not easy to produce industrially and is not cost-effective for use as a general-purpose polymer.
- Patent Document 5 discloses an aliphatic polyester block copolymer having a polyolefin segment and an aliphatic polyester segment. However, since it is produced by the method of Patent Document 4, the olefin block copolymer of Patent Document 4 is used. Like the polymer, it is not advantageous in terms of cost.
- Patent Document 5 discloses a copolymer in which a compound having a hydroxyl group and an unsaturated bond (HEMA) such as 2-hydroxymethacrylate is radically reacted with polypropylene to graft HEMA and its oligomer onto a polypropylene chain.
- HEMA unsaturated bond
- a method of introducing a polylactic acid segment using the hydroxyl group after obtaining a polymer is shown.
- this method is applied to polyethylene, it is generally known that since radical reactions occur at various locations in the polyethylene chain, the cross-linking reaction between the polyethylene chains is also accompanied and gelled easily.
