- 前記制御部は、前記回転摩擦トルクに対応するモーメントと前記スピンドル軸用電動機の発生トルクとが一致するように、前記スピンドル軸用電動機を制御することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタイヤ試験機。
- 前記トルクキャンセル装置は、さらに、前記スピンドル軸に加わるトルクを検出するスピンドル軸トルク検出部を備えており、
前記制御部は、前記走行装置で与えられた回転力によってタイヤが回転している時に、前記計測装置が計測する回転摩擦トルクに対応するモーメント及び前記スピンドル軸トルク検出部が検出するトルクに基づいて前記スピンドル軸用電動機の発生トルクを制御することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタイヤ試験機。 - 前記計測装置が前記トルクキャンセル装置の回転摩擦トルク計測部を兼ねることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタイヤ試験機。
- 前記制御部は、前記計測装置が計測する回転摩擦トルクに対応するモーメントと前記スピンドル軸トルク検出部が検出するトルクとの差がゼロになるように前記スピンドル軸用電動機の発生トルクを制御することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のタイヤ試験機。
- タイヤを保持するスピンドル軸と、このスピンドル軸を軸受を介して回転自在に支持するハウジングと、回転駆動により周回する面を有し、この面と当接させたタイヤに回転力を与える走行装置と、前記ハウジングに設けられて前記スピンドル軸に生じた力及びモーメントを計測する計測装置とを備えたタイヤ試験機で、タイヤが発生する力を計測するタイヤ試験方法において、
前記スピンドル軸がその回転に伴って前記ハウジングにおいて受ける回転摩擦トルクの影響を打ち消すように、前記走行装置とは別に前記スピンドル軸にトルクを付与しつつタイヤが発生する力を計測するタイヤ試験方法。 - 前記走行装置で与えられた回転力によってタイヤが回転している時に、前記回転摩擦トルクに対応するモーメントを計測するとともに、別途前記スピンドル軸に加わるトルクを検出し、当該回転摩擦トルクに対応するモーメントと当該スピンドル軸に加わるトルクとの差がゼロになるように前記スピンドルに付与するトルクを制御することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のタイヤ試験方法。
