Abstract

 本発明のリチウム二次電池用正極形成用塗工液は、平均粒径1~20μmの大粒径活物質と、平均粒径5~100nmの小粒径活物質とを、その配合比が容積基準で90:10~50:50になるように含有し、かつ平均粒径比(大粒径活物質の平均粒径/小粒径活物質の平均粒径)が50~500である。この塗工液は長期間の保存安定性に優れ、活物質の高密度充填が可能なので、この塗工液を用いて正極を作製すれば、エネルギー密度および容量の高いリチウム二次電池が得られる。
