Abstract

L'invention porte sur un cristal liquide polymère permettant de former un film à anisotropie optique ayant une transparence élevée et une excellente résistance à la lumière laser bleue. L'invention porte spécifiquement sur un cristal liquide polymère qui est un copolymère contenant au moins deux sortes d'unités monomères issues d'un monomère représenté par la formule (I) ci-après. Le liquide polymère est obtenu par élimination des impuretés par purification après polymérisation. CH2=CR1-COO-(CH2)m-(CF2)r-(CH2)n-(O)t-E1-(E2)h-(E3)k-E4-R2 (1) Dans la formule, R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe méthyle ; R2 représente un groupe alkyle, un groupe alcoxy ou un atome de fluor ; E1, E2, E3 et E4 représentent indépendamment un groupe 1,4-phénylène ou un groupe trans-1,4-cyclohexylène ; m représente un entier de 0-6, r représente un entier de 0-6, et n représente un entier de 0-6, à la condition que, lorsque r=0, m+n est un entier de pas plus de 10 ; t est 0 (lorsque m+r+n=0) ou 1(lorsque m+r+n >0) ; h est 0 ou 1 ; et k est 0 ou 1.
