Abstract

 本発明は、モリブデン含有固体触媒を用いて芳香族炭化水素を製造する方法であって、モリブデン含有固体触媒を活性化させ、高い収率を長時間維持し、メタンを主成分とする低級炭化水素ガスから効率的に芳香族炭化水素を製造する方法を提供することを課題としている。  本発明の芳香族炭化水素の製造方法は、モリブデン含有固体触媒と、低級炭化水素および水素ガスから選ばれる1種以上の予備接触ガスとを予備接触させる工程と、予備接触させた触媒とメタンを主成分とする原料ガスとを接触させて反応させ、芳香族炭化水素を生成させる反応工程とを有し、予備接触の開始温度が反応温度よりも低温であり、予備接触の開始から終了までの温度が反応温度を超えないことを特徴としている。
