Abstract

 共振周波数付近の共振特性を改善することができ、電極指間の短絡不良や絶縁性の劣化が生じ難い、弾性波素子を提供する。  圧電体に接するようにIDT電極3が形成されており、IDT電極3が複数本の電極指を有し、該複数本の電極指が、弾性波伝搬方向において隣り合っておりかつ異なる電位に接続される第1,第2の電極指31,32と、第1の電極指31の電極指長さ方向外側に配置されたギャップ33を介して対向されている第1のダミー電極指34とを含み、ギャップ近傍において、第1の電極指31及び第1のダミー電極指34の内の少なくとも一方において、少なくとも一方の電極指の側縁から弾性波伝搬方向に突出するように第1の凸部11~14が形成されている、弾性波素子1。
