Abstract

La présente invention concerne des fibres composites thermosoudables auto-extensibles faites à partir de téréphtalate de polyéthylène en tant qu'ingrédient de résine formant une fibre et ont un faible module. Les fibres composites thermosoudables auto-extensibles sont faites à partir d'un ingrédient de résine formant une fibre et d'un ingrédient de résine thermosoudable, et sont caractérisées en ce que l'ingrédient de résine formant une fibre comprend du téréphtalate de polyéthylène, l'ingrédient de résine thermosoudable comprend une résine thermoplastique cristalline ayant une température de fusion inférieure d'au moins 20 °C à celle de l'ingrédient de résine formant une fibre, et les fibres ont une élongation à la rupture allant de 130 à 600 %, une résistance à la traction à une élongation de 100 % allant de 0,3 à 1,0 cN/dtex, et un degré de rétrécissement lors d'un chauffage à sec à 120 °C inférieur à –1,0 %.
