- a wire such as aluminum is introduced on the boat 5, and aluminum is evaporated from the boat 5, and organic carbon is contained from the unwinding side plasma gas introducing device 14 and the unwinding side plasma gas introducing device 15. Since the composite plasma gas is introduced, an inorganic compound is formed on the surface of the polymer substrate 16 at a position on the cooling drum 17. Thereafter, the polymer base material 16 on which the inorganic compound is formed is wound around the winding roll 7 through the guide rolls 13, 12, and 11.

- Table 1 shows the measurement results of the aluminum, oxygen, silicon, and carbon atom concentrations in the inorganic compound layer using a scanning transmission electron microscope.
- Table 2 shows the concentrations of silicon, carbon, and hydrogen atoms in the inorganic compound layer by secondary ion mass spectrometry.
