Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a hood, in particular for items of clothing for protective or military purposes, such as NBC protective suits or the like, according to the preamble of claim 1. Therefore, the term “circumferential” can denote both a state in which the hem or the sealing element form a closed ring or circle, but also a state in which the hem and the sealing element has two loose ends (e.g. if the hood has a closure or a closable opening), wherein the two loose ends of the hem and the sealing element can then be placed one above the other or at least essentially brought together at the ends. Abstract
