Abstract

L'invention concerne un obus fumigène (1) qui comprend un boîtier (2) cylindrique dont la face supérieure et la face inférieure sont fermées et qui contient une charge active (3), et dont la face inférieure est pourvue d'une tête de contact (9) qui contient une composition fusante (10) destinée à amorcer et expulser la charge active (3). Afin de simplifier l'échange de pièces individuelles et de pouvoir les recycler lorsqu'elles sont enlevées, il est prévu de disposer sur la face inférieure du boîtier (2), une bride annulaire (7) centrée à laquelle est fixée la tête de contact (9). Cette dernière comporte une tubulure (8) servant à loger la composition fusante (10) et s'engage dans la bride annulaire (7). La face supérieure ouverte du boîtier (2) en forme de pot est en outre fermée au moyen d'un couvercle fileté (4) et la charge active se trouve de préférence dans un corps actif (3), de sorte que l'obus fumigène se présente sous la forme d'une cartouche.
