Definitions
- the invention relates to a cladding profile according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such cladding profiles are used primarily in shipbuilding for the separation of storage and cargo spaces.
- the rooms consist of a solid base plate, e.g. a rigid aluminum profile, which is connected at its edges to a frame made of strips or angle profiles, to which profile sheets for the walls and the ceiling are screwed.
- Sheets of plywood or simple aluminum sheet have been used as the cladding profile. These were sealed with a sealing compound in the area of their longitudinal edges.
- the cladding profile consists of elongated profile sheets which have grooves and tongues in the region of their longitudinal edges, which are intended for mutual engagement with one another. Easy assembly is made possible by the fact that a sealing strip is arranged in the area of the groove, which rests on the tongue of a further profile plate that engages in the groove.
- both the groove and the tongue are designed in the shape of a circular arc, for example C-shaped, as a result of which they engage in a hinge-like manner.
- a profiled sheet can be connected to an already assembled profiled sheet in a simple manner in that it is attached to the groove of the already assembled profiled sheet at an angle which deviates from the plane of the already assembled cladding profile, and then in the manner of a Door is rotated into the arcuate groove.
- the forwardly facing part of the groove preferably has the profile of a drop or a circle around which the spring of the profiled sheet to be inserted, which is bent in the shape of a circular arc, slides.
- a guide surface projecting beyond the groove can be arranged on the back of the groove. This guide surface again facilitates the assembly of a profiled sheet to be used, in that the newly to be assembled profiled sheet is placed with its spring on the guide surface and then pushed in the direction of the groove.
- the profile sheet to be assembled does not therefore have to be placed exactly on the opening of the groove. Since the guide surface forms the rear wall of the groove and ends in its extension in the groove, a profiled plate, which is applied with its spring to the guide surface, is automatically inserted into the groove when the profiled plate comes on after the spring has been in contact the guide surface is moved towards the groove. In this way, the profiled sheets can be assembled quickly and easily, the surface of the cladding profile being extremely smooth and thus shapely. With this cladding profile, buildings and superstructures on vehicles can also be clad. The cladding profile is suitable for all applications where aesthetic Requirements are placed on a light metal cladding.
- the sealing strips in the area of the groove are preferably arranged in recesses which are milled out in the area of the groove of a profiled sheet.
- the sealing strip which preferably has a circular cross section, can be inserted in a form-fitting manner in these recesses, so that it can also be easily replaced if necessary. It can of course also be glued to the profile sheet.
- the sealing strip preferably consists of an elastic rubber or foam material which is usually used for seals.
- the profile sheets can either be provided with reinforcement profiles in the manner of a T-profile or can be double-walled.
- the walls formed by the profiled sheets are connected to one another at their abutting edges by strips or angle profiles which are screwed to the inside of the profiled sheets.
- the length of the screws is chosen so that they do not protrude beyond the surface of the profile sheet when the screwing is done from the back of the profile sheet.
- the cladding profile can be used in particular on refrigerated ships or fish factory ships in which the cladding profile must be quick to assemble, easy to maintain and flame retardant. All of these properties are met by the profiled sheet according to the invention.
- the profiled sheet is still not susceptible to moisture and is suitable thus also for cladding storage rooms for food.
- Advantageous further developments of the invention are Ge ⁇ subject of the dependent claims. The invention is described below with reference to the schematic
- Figure 2 shows a cross section through two interconnected profile sheets.
- FIG. 3 is a largely true-to-scale representation according to FIG. 2, on a 1: 2 scale;
- Fig. 4 is a mounting profile sheet for easily detachable connection of two profile sheets and
- Fig. 5 shows a refrigerator in a cargo ship, which is lined with the cladding profile.
- the profiled sheet 10 is made of aluminum and has a spring 12 on its one longitudinal edge, which is on the right in the illustration, which is curved in the manner of a circular arc.
- the tongue 12 has the shape of a C which is open towards the top.
- the other longitudinal edge of the profiled sheet 10 is provided with a groove 14 which is complementary to the tongue 12 and is therefore also shaped like an arc.
- the front side of the groove 14 is formed by an edge 16 with a drop-shaped or circular profile.
- This edge 16 serves as a pivot bearing for the arcuate spring 12 of an adjacent profiled sheet 10.
- the back or The rear wall of the groove 14 is formed by a guide surface 18 which merges seamlessly into the groove 14.
- a recess 20 with a circular cross section, in which a sealing strip 22 with a circular profile is held in a form-fitting manner.
- the profile plate 10 is reinforced on its back by a T-profile 13. 2 and 3 each show two profiled sheets 10 which are connected to one another via the tongue and groove connection 12, 14.
- a newly assembled profile plate 10 is placed with its spring 12 on the guide surface 18 of an already assembled profile plate 10.
- the plane of the profiled sheet 10 to be assembled is inclined in relation to the plane of the already assembled profiled sheet 10, so that an obtuse angle is formed between the front sides 11 of both profiled sheets.
- the profiled sheet 10 to be assembled is then pushed along the guide surface 18 in the direction of the groove 14.
- the tongue 12 of the profiled sheet 10 to be assembled engages in the groove 14 of the already assembled profiled sheet.
- FIG. 4 shows a mounting profile 30 which is mounted between the mutually facing edges of two profiled sheets 10.
- the mounting profile 30 also has a groove 14 which is formed on its front by an edge 16 with an arcuate curvature.
- the mounting profile 30 is articulated in the profile sheet 12 with this edge.
- the mounting profile 30 has a further groove 32, with which it engages around a sealing strip 34 of the facing profiled sheet 10 formed on the guide surface 18.
- This mounting profile 30 is used as an end profile of a wall which is formed from the cladding profile according to the invention.
- profiled sheets become the center from the edges of a wall. put together, which can be done by a hinge-like movement already described above.
- a remaining gap between two profile sheets 10 (see also FIG. 5) is then closed in a simple manner by inserting the mounting profile 30 with its groove 14 into the tongue 12 of the profile sheet 10, which is one side of the remaining gap forms.
- the mounting profile 30 with its groove 32 is pressed onto the sealing strip 34 by a hinge-like closing movement which is formed on the guide surface 18 of a profile plate 10 which forms the other edge of the remaining gap.
- the front 11 of the mounting profile 30 is aligned with the front 11 of the profile sheets 10.
- FIG. 5 shows a cargo or cooling space of a cargo ship, the walls and ceiling of which are formed by the cladding profiles according to FIGS. 1 to 4.
- the cold room consists of a strong aluminum floor profile 40.
- This floor profile is on an intermediate deck 42 of a cargo ship, e.g. a fish factory ship, arranged.
- Profile sheets 10, which form the walls of the cooling space, extend vertically upwards on the outer edges of the floor profile 40.
- the wall shown on the left in the figure is closed off by an assembly profile 30.
- the profiled sheets 10 are screwed together via angled profiles 44.
- the profiled sheets 10 can continue to be screwed over wooden strips 46. The length of the screws is chosen such that they do not protrude from the front of the profiled sheets 10 facing the cooling space.
- Thermal insulation 48 is arranged between the walls formed by the profiled sheets 10 of the cladding profile and the next intermediate deck 42 located above the cooling space.
- the cooling space formed with the cladding profile is quick to assemble, extremely dimensionally stable and on the inside it is both visually appealing and easy to maintain.
- the sealing lip for sealing the tongue and groove connection between two profiled sheets can also be arranged on the tongue of a profiled sheet such that it comes to rest in the groove area or on the guide surface of an adjacent profiled sheet.
