Abstract

La batterie rechargeable, du type à électrolyte organique de métal alcalin, comprend une électrode carbonée particulaire à faible superficie (20), pouvant s'inclure dans le métal alcalin, et se caractérise par de faibles pertes de capacité lors de l'inclusion de l'électrode carbonée dans le métal alcalin. L'électrode carbonée (20) peut contenir une composition multiphase constituée par des phases à la fois hautement graphitées (70) et moins graphitées (80), ou peut contenir une composition hautement graphitée monophase qui a été soumise à l'inclusion de lithium à une température supérieure à 50°C environ. L'incorporation d'un matériau filamenteux électroconducteur (80), tel que du noir de carbone étroitement entremêlé à la composition carbonée (70), réduit au minimum les pertes de capacité lors des cycles répétés de charge/décharge.
