本発明は、 新規な有機金属化合物に係り、 さ らに詳し く は、 複合酸化 物類の製造原料と して有用な複合ォキシアルコキシ ド類およびその誘導 体に関する。
背景技術
チタ ン酸バリ ゥム、 チタ ン酸ス ト 口 ンチウム等の複合酸化物類は、 そ れぞれに特有の誘電性、 圧電性、 機拔特性、 化学特性、 を有するため、 エ レク ト ロ二クス用素材ゃフ ア イ ンパ ー フ ォ ーマ ンスセラ ミ ク用材料と して極めて重要な物質である。 従来、 複合酸化物類は、 高温下における 固相反応により製造されている。 たとえば、 チタ ン酸アルカ リ土類金属 塩類は酸化チタ ンと、 アルカ リ土類金属類の炭酸塩とを高温下に反応さ せるこ とによ り下記反 IS式に従って製造される。

しかしながら、 該方法で得られる複合鼓化物類は、 比較的多量の不純物 を含有し、 また紐成たとえばチタ ン酸アルカ リ土類金属埕であればチタ ン (T i ) とアルカ リ土類金属 ( ) と O原子比 (T i / H ) が一定条件の 反応であっても一定の値を示すとは 11ちず化学量^値となり に く い。 さ3r
らに得られる複合 ¾化物の粒径は数 '以上てありかつ、 その分布巾が広 い。 したがって高 ί生能化小型化への要求の高いエ レク ト ロニクス用素材 として該方法で得られる複合酸化抝類 、 充分な.性能を有するものとは いい難い。
前記固相反応の欠点を改良する複合酸化 類の製造方法と して、 溶液中 '
における化^反応による方 H: (以下 とし -:' .提案されてい る。 溶液法は一 ¾に下記の き待 ¾を^ ている。
(1)不純物の除去精製が比較的に容易であるため高 ½度の目的物が得られ る。 一-
(2)粒径 ¾! m以下のかつ粒径分布巾の狭い g的钧が得られる。
(3)第 3物質の添加が容易であり、 かつ後.量の添加でも均一な組成とする ことができるため、 目的に JBじた特性を有する目的物を得ることができ る。
しかしながら、 公知の溶液法による複合酸化物の製造方法は種々の欠点 を有するため、 複合酸化物の工業的な製造方法として探 ¾することはで きない。
たとえば、 水酸化バリ ウ ム 〔 Ba ( 0H)2〕 の水溶液とチタ ンア ルコキシ ド 類 〔: Ti ( OR) J との反応により ¾¾:子状チタ ン酸バリ ウム 〔BaTi03〕 を 製造する方法 C J. A.C. S.77 6194 ( 1954) および J, Amer* Ceram.-So 49 291 ( 1966) 〕 においては、 製品中の TiZBa比を化学量誇値に制御する ことが困難である。 ノ リ ウム ア ルコキシド類 〔 Ba ( 0R)2〕' とチタ ンア ル コキシ ド類 〔 Ti (0R 〕 との混合アルコ - ル淳浚を如永分^してチタ ン 酸バリ ウム 〔 BaTiGs〕 を製造する方法 : U.S.Paient 3,647,364} および ノ リ ウ ムァルコ キシ ド顔に替えてス ト ンチ ウ 丄アルコ キ シ ド類 : Sr ( 0R)2) を用いるチタ ン ス ト ンチウ ム 方法 : J.Aner.Cera .Soc .53 91 ( 1970) : においては原料として俊^するアルカ リ土類金属アル コキシ ドが高 ί®でありかつ、 入手 g H.てある Οで実用^てはない。
水酸化バリ ウム 〔Ba ( 0H)2〕 と E3¾化チタ ン iC 〕 とを反応させる チタ ン酸バリ ウム C BaTi03 J 0¾這方法 〔U.S. Patent 3, 725, 539: 、 塩 化バリ ウ ム ( BaCl2 : と四塩化チタ ン ' iC : とを遏¾化水素 : H202〕 で処理するチタ ン ¾バリ ウ ム CEaTi03) の ¾造方法 〔待 K昭 49-6S5' 〕 等、 チタニウム篛としてチタ ンアルコキ.シ ド以 7hの化合 を用いるチタ ン¾バリ ゥムの製造方法においては、 TiZ 比を化学量 ½楦に制^する ことが困難であり、 かつ、 反応搡 1?が煩 Ϊ佳て'ある。 チタニウムイオ ンと

本発明は、 溶液法による複合酸化钧の原料と して有用な新規な有殿金属 化合物、 複合ォキシアルコ キシ ド類およびその誘導体を提供する こ とを 目的とし、 該化合物の製造方法および、 該化合物を用いる改良された溶 液法による複合酸化钩の製造方法を提供するこ とを別の目的とする。 本発明者等は、 前記目的を達成すべ く锐意研究の結果、 アルカ リ土類金 属の水酸化物とチタ ンアルコキシ ド類との反応により、 加水分 ¾により 容易に化学量論値の TiZBa比を有するチタ ン酸アル力 リ土類金属塩の微 結晶を生成し得る複合ォ キ シアルコ キ シ ド類が得られるこ とを見出し本 発明を完成した。 発明の開示

本発明の複合ォキシアルコキシ ド類およびその誘導体は、 有機溶剤可溶 性であり有機溶剤の種類によってはかなり高濃度の溶液を得るこ とがで きる。 また、 これらは、 加水分薛または熱分鞣により容易にチタ ン酸ァ ルカ リ土類金属塩類を生成する。 特に前者は一般式 〔 I 〕 中の - ORで表 わされる S換基の種類によっても異なる^大気中の水分によって容易に 加水分解を受けるが、 後者においては大気中の水分により加水分解を受 けることはほとんどな く常態において安定である。

原料の一般式 〔 Π〕 麦わされるアルコキシチタ ンとしては、 目的とする 複合ォキシアルコキシ ド類または誘導^の β に対応するアルコキシチタ ンを使用することができるが、 テ ト ラメ トキシチタ ン、 テ ト ライ ソプロ ポキシチタ ン、 テ ト ラブ トキシチタ ン、 ジェ トキシ― ジイ ソプロボキシ チタン等の鑌扰アルコキシチタ'ン類を いるのが^ま しく 、 特に工業的 に製造され入手し易いテ ト ライ ソプロポキシチタン、 テ ト ラブ トキシチ タ ンを用いるのが望ましい。
置換基 (-0β 基) の異なる複合ォキ シアルコ キ シ ド類は上記低級アルコ キシチタ ン類を原料として得られた複合ォキシアルコキシ ドに所望の置 換基 (-0R 基) を有するアルコ —ル類を反応させることによりアルキル 基の全て、 もし く は一 に置換導入することにより得られる。
一般式 〔 〕 で表わされるアルカ リ土頦金属水酸化钧は 水塩もしく は 無水物を使用するこ とか.、 使用するア ルコ キ シチタ ン、 および生成する 複合ォキシアルコキシ 水分 ^ : ΐ±するた に好ましい。

反応混合物^の目的生成 である複合ォキシアルコ キシ ド以外の固形お よびノまたは ¾液伏の未反広原料、 副生钫等の不純物および反応溶剤は 滤過等の通常の固液分難操作および遙縮、 蒸留等の通常の気液分離操作 により分離するこ とにより、 目的とする複合ォキシアルコキシ ドを単離 するこ とができる。
複合ォキシアルコ キシ ド類は、 原料の種類、 その配分比、 有機溶剤を使 用する場合はその種類および量、 反応温度、 反応時間等の反応条件なら びに後処理の条件によって異なるが、 一^に一^式 〔 I 〕 で衷わされる 構成単位の! ¾り返しの平均数が 1 〜 100 である単量体もし く は多量体で あり、 通常の条件下では 4 〜 12の多量体'が得られる。 また缲り返し単位 数の相互差による化学的および物理的性質の差異を利用して ^り返し単 位数の分布巾の抉いも 0を ¾造する ことも 能てある。

由で空気タイ ト下に行い反広 ik ¾合ォキニ ア ルコキ ン ί およびキレ - ト化剤の種類、 有機溶^ ο使 ¾ ο有氣あるいはその種 、 S等に依存 して変化するが通常 0 〜300 て好ま しく は 20〜 250 ての瘟度下で 0.5 〜 10時間好まし く は 1 〜5 時間である。
得られる複合ォキシア ルコキシ ド誘導体は複合ォキシア ルコキシ ドの構 成単位の操り返し数に依存するが基準となる構成単位の^り返しの平均 数が 1 〜: L00 である単量体もしく は多量^であり、 通常の条件下では 4 〜 12の多量体で得られる。 また複合ォキシア ルコキシ ド類と同様に ϋり 返し単位数の分布巾をせばめることができる。 図面の簡草な説明

てい く と反応^度 120 。c位から ル ロ ー し り にパラ キ シ レ ンの還流下反 を 2時間 け反応を終 ½した。 こ の間当初 白濁していた伏態から淡黃色の溶液に変化した。 留出したイ ソプロパノ ールは 17.8gr ( 0.297mol) であった。 一部不溶の BaC03 を ^別した後反 応液を減圧下加熱し、 パラキシレ ンを留出除去し淡黄色 固体 50.7grを 得た。 本品は、 I βおよび 'MR からィ ソプロ ピル基が確認され、 また Baお よび Tiの元素分折値から BaTi02 〔 0CH ( CH3 ) 2〕 2の組成式であることを 認めた。
又、 バラキシレン溶液の氷点降下渕定から分子量は 2620であつたので 8 量体と推定した。
以下 M (0H)2および Ti ( 01?)4を種々代えた以外には同様に処理し、 種々 の複合ォキ シアルコ キ シ ドを合成した。

還流冷却 、 攪拌 ¾i、 よび ¾度^も取付け £ 0ni 4つ口フ ラ スコ IZ Ba ( 0Η)2 · 6.2 gr. ( 0.036 mol とメ タノ - 'レ ( CH30H ) - 50mlと よりなる谇液を仕込み、 -2ガス雰圄気下 80'cに ¾Π熱し、 その温度を維持 しな力くら、 Ti C 0CH ( CH3 )2 〕4 · 9.6 gr. ( 0.034 mol ) をおよびィ ソ プロパノ - ル 〔 ( CH3 )2 CH0H3 30mlを 1時間にわたり滴下し、 均一な反 応液から真空下 80'C以下の温度で ( CH3 )2 Ch'OHおよび CH30H を留去せし め、 反応生咸物 10.0 gr.を得た。
該反応生成物は、 IR、 N S および元秦分圻による同定の結果 BaTiO 2 ( OCHs)^ [ 0CH ( CH3 )2〕 ©組成式であることを認めた。
また、 パラキシレ ン溶液の氷点降下測定から分子量は 1190であり、 4 量体であると推定した。

実施例 1 一 (1)で得られた BaTi02 〔 OCH ( CH3 )2 ) 2 · 3.4 gr. ( O.Olmo 1 ) をキシレ ン 20mlに溶解し、 80 の温度に加温锥持した中に、 ベンジ ルアルコ ー ル 2.2 gr ( 0.02mol ) を滴下し、 均一な反応液を得た。 該反 応液よりキシレ ンを留去し、 BaTi02' ( 0CH2 - C6HS)2 · 4.2 gr. を得た。 分子量は 1800であり 4量体と推定した。

還流冷却器、 ¾拌機および溘度計を取付けた 200ml の 4つ口フ ラスコ に実施例 1 一 U)て調製した BaTiO 2 〔 OCH ( CH 3 )2〕 2の 28.5 gr . (0.085 mol ) およびパラキシ ン 22.8 gr.を仕込み、 N2ガス雰囲気下室温でァセ チノレアセ 卜 ン ( CH3C0CH2C0CH3 ) 8.5 gr. ( 0.085 mol ) を除々 に滴下 した。 滴下に伴い、 発熱があり、 系内に一部沈籙が生じた。 ついで、 加 熱し反応温度が約 100'Cに達した付近からィ ソプロパノ -ルが溜出して きた。 それと共に沈篛を溶^してきた。 約 2時間の加熟でイ ソプロパノ -ルが 4.3 g ( 0.072 mol ) 溜去した。 得られた反応液 (溶液) は大気 中 6時間放置しても折出物な く透明であった。 得られた反応 ¾から 圧 下、 50'cまでの^度で溶媒を滘出し、 反!!:生^钧 32.1 gを得た。
該反応生威 ¾は、 IR、 N R および元素分^の結果、 BaTi02〔0CH ( CH 3 )2〕 C 0C0CH2C0CH3 の組成式であることを認めた。
また、 パラキシ ン^液の水点降下 ^定 ら分子!:は S40 であり、 2量 体であると措定した:

実施例 8 と同一の装置に実施例 1 — (1)で調製した BaTi02 C0CH ( CH3 )2 〕214,5 gr. ( 0.043 mol ) およびパラキシレ ン 11.6 gr.と、 実施例 1 一 (2)と同様の方法で調製した SrTi02 [ 0CH ( CH3 )2)212.3 gr. ( 0.043 mo 1 ) およびデカ リ ン 24.5 gを仕込み、 援拌しながら乳酸 7.7 g ( 0.086 mol ) を滴下した。 発熱を俘い系内より 白色沈籙が圻出してきた。 その まま約 95'cまで加熟、 昇 ΪΙし、 イ ソプロパノ ー ルを溜出させた。 溜出し - たイ ソプロノヽ'ノ 一ノレは 9.6 gr. ( 0.16 mol) であった。 得られた反応液 (溶液) は大気中 6時間放置しても 出物な く 透明であった。 折出した 白色沈毂は it別し、 P-キ ン レ ン 5G Iて^净し、 乾燥して、 反応生成物 24 .5 gr.を得た。
該反応生成物は IS、 NM (iSDCi- 2 G 系で白色 )末を分!?して測定) および元素分圻から Bs0.5 Sr。,5 Τίΰ2 ( CH3 ) C0C ] の組成式である ことを認めた。
該反応生成物の IRチ ヤ - トを第 6 に示した。

実施例 1 - で得られた均一 ¾液を一 シ ャ ー レにランブリ ングし空 気中に放置すると透明のゲル状化合物に変化した。 このものを赤外ラ ン ブのもと乾燥すると菽細な粒子に分蘚した。 この粉末は BaTi02C03 に相 当することが I.R及び元素分折より明らかとなった。 このものをさらに 700 、 2 hr仮焼させたところ立方晶 BaTi03の微粒子^となった。 ¾径 0.1 以下の菽粒子の 1 ~ 2< "の凝集体であった。 - 応用例 6
実施例 8 で得た粉末 15.5 'gr. (0.0413 mol) をノ ルマ'ルブタノール 370 gr. に溶解し、 BaTi03換算で 5重量%の溶液を f駕整した。 この溶液 は空気中に放置しても安定であったので、 空気中で 30 mm X 50 mm X 3 mm (厚さ) の石英ガラスに浸し、 約 1 分後に 40 cm / m i π で引き上げた,
10分風乾したのち、 100 'cで 1時間乾漠¾電気炉で 1100'cで 3時間焼き 付け透明な BaTi03'の膜を得た。

本発明の複合ォキ ンアルコ キシ ド類およびそ o誘導体は ¾液法による チタ ン酸アルカ リ土類金属塩類の製造に有用な新規な有 金属化合物で あり下記の特徵を有する。
( 1 ) 複合ォキシアルコキシ ド類およびその誘導体は、 適当な条件下で 加水分 または熱分鞣することにより容易にチタ ン酸アルカ リ土類金属 塩類を生成する。
( 2 ) 複合ォキシアルコ キシ ド類およびその誘導^は有機溶剤溶薛性で あるため、 成形剤を添加し、 蘀膜抉、 板伏、 ϋ謠^等に成形した後ある いは成形せずして加水分蘚または熱分蘚することにより微粒子伏、 薄膜 状、 板伏、 锆維状等の所望の形沃のチタ ン ¾アルカ リ土類金属塩類を得 るこ とができる。
( 3 ) 複合ォキシアルコキシ ド類およびその誘導 ば、 有^溶剤溶解性 であるため、 チタ ン酸アルカ リ土類金属塩類に添加される シフタ一、 デ プレサ一、 半導体化剤、 焼結助剤等をあらかじめ添加することにより均
—に混合するこ とができる。 · '
( 4 ) 複合ォキシァ レコキシ ド類およびそ G誘導体 φの T i Z M 比が化学 量論位てあるためこれを ¾J水分^また:ま 分 して得られるチタ ン餒ァ ルカ リ土類金属塩類中の T i / ^ ibが 学量 ½ :こ等しいかまたは極めて 近 、 1iEの ¾ Oてめる。
( 5 ) 比較的安 i て入手し易い H f を い、 ffi草な方法で製造できる。
( 6 ) 複合ォキシアルコ キシ ド誘導 複合ォキシアルコキシ ド類に比 ベて貯蔵安定性に優れている。
本発!^ま、 チタ ン ¾アル力 リ土類金属 製造に有用な新規な複合 ォキシアルコキ シ ド類およびそ Ο誘導体を提俣するものであり、 その産 業的意義は極めて大きい。

R は、 鑌状または分歧のある炭素数 1〜 6 のアルキル基、 ヒ ドロキ シ基、 炭素数 1〜 3 のアルコ キ シ基または塩素 で置換されたアルキル基ならびに置換または穽置換の シク ロアノレキノレ基、 ァノレケニゾレ基およびァラノレキノレ基 の群から遷ばれた同種または異種
を表す。

2. 請求の範囲第 1項の記載において、 複合ォキシア ルコキシ ドは一般 式

4. 諝求の範固第 3項記載 C;反広において、 伝 アルコ キ シチタ ンは、 テ ト ラ イ ソ プロ ボキ シチタ ン、 テ ト ラ ブ ト キ シチタ ンである。
5 . 請求の範园第 2項およ 第 3項記載 反 において、 反応条伴は 非搔性有 t¾¾剤の還流^度下に 1 ないし 3 時間である。
