The form of stove to which our design is shown as applied is that of a cylinder stove having a square base.
Our deal for the top of the stove consists of a dome orm ortion, P, which is smaller in its transverse iameter than the stove-body B on which it is placed, and is somewhat flattened in its upward contour. Between this dome-form top and the stove-body there is an overhanging molded portion, 1?, having the downwardly and outwardly projected beveled molding p, extending fromt-he dome base d, and the upwardl and outwardly beveled molding 11', extends from the stove-body with a beveled band-molding, 11', arranged between the said opposite beveled moldin s p p, all the said moldings being produ in revolution upon the stove between the base of the dome-portion and the stove-body.
Our desi n for the door-fra|ne F consists of the aide pi asters, having outwardly-beveled and molded sides 1', interior scale orna mentation, f, pendent grapes and leaf f, a lozenge ornament, a, and a pendent drop ornament, f, at the ottom of the pllasters.
The top of the door frame is com osed of the projecting overhanging molding which at its longitudinal center is divided and separated for theiutrusion of a leaf ornament, f, and at each side of the letter said overhanging moidingf curves in opposite directions down wardly and laterally, so as to subiend the 'pilastcrs at each side of the frame, the said molding where over the pilasters being ornamented b a pedestal, f. The molding atthe bottom 0 the door-frame is ornamented with two notched and filleted reversing curves, f", and central scrolls, f".
Where in contact with the pilaslers the bottom of the door-frame is ornamented with two notched and filleted reversing curves, f
The door that is shown within the frame F forms the subject of another application for a design patent bearing even date herewith and made by us.
Our design for the lower door-frame (indicated at I) consists of the pilasters i, made with molded and beveled sides 6', a qnatrefoil figure, i, in the frontal the pilasters near their upper ends, the scale ornamentation i, the plinth i, the pyramidnlly-molded top, i, surmounted by an immersed ball. Between the said side pilasters the top of the frame I? has two reversing fringed medallion scrolls, i, and between the latter is a pedestal, :1, having at the front a radiate figure, i, and at the top oi the cone-form ornament i'. The bottom oi said frame I consists of a dilated molding, i", that joins the side pilasters.
The feet of the stove, as indicated at M, have a. downwardly and outwardly slanting front with their sides so shaped to give them a V form, the feet on their front exterior surface being ornamented by a beaded line, m, across the top, the side edge fillets, m, the intermediately-placed fan ornaments, m, and relief leaf ornaments m m.
Having thus described our design, what we claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s-- 1.
