DESIGN FOR A PARLOR-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 16,413, dated December 15, 1885.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, H. CLAY Bssooar, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Parlor Stoves, of which the following is a. specification, reference being bad to the accompany ing engraving of a stove having said design.
This design embraces several no -v, distinctive, and separate parts and combinations of parts which go to make up the whole design, as hereinafter speei lied, and show 11 in the storesaid engraving.
One partconsists of the shape and ornnmeir tation of the cover A, having a cpl-.nlrilateral form, and the upwardly and inwardly inclined concavely-cnrved and tapering side a and end I), with the upper lattice-work, c c, and lower compound floral and vine-form ornaments, (land d.
Another part is the shape and ornamentation of the end door, B, embracing the inclined branch 0, of combined floral and leaf ornaments.
Another separate and distinctive part of this design is the ornamentation oi the rectangular pilasters O, embracing the long leaf ornament f, the base ornament g, the ornamental cap h, and the surface 6.
Another distinctive separate part of this design is the shape and ornamentation of the door D, embracing the eoncavely-enrved npwardly and rearwardly inclined upper portion, j, having the two pairs of light-openings k, of the form shownmith the molded top 2 and the convexly-ourvcd lower portion, at, having the row of apertures a and intermediate ornaments, o.
The design for the front embraces the shape and ornamentation of the pilasters 0, lower door, D, upper door, E, and body-plate F, substantially as shown.
The design for the legs consists of the broad upper side parts, p, meeting at an angle, the lower portion, q, and the componni floral or nalnent r.
The whole design embraces the shape and ornalnention of the cover A, end door, B, the front including the parts 0, D, E, and F, the base G, and the legs.
I claim as new- 1. In a design fora stove, the shape and ornamentation ol the cover A, embracing the parts a, b, c c, and d d, as set forth.
2. In a design for a stove, the shape and orinunentation of the end door, B, embracing the compound ornament e, as shown.
3. In a design for a stove, the ornamentation of the rectangular pilasters O, embracing the partsf, g, h, and i, shaped as shown and d ascribed.
4. In a. design for a store, the shape and ornamentation of the door -D, embracing the partsj k l and m n o, as set forth.
5. In a. design for astove, the shape and ornamentation of the front, embracing the parts 0, D, E, and F, as set forth.
6. In a design for a. stove, the shape and ornamentation of the legs, consisting of the parts p, q, and r, as set forth.
7. The design for a stove embracing the parts A B O D E F G and the legs, shaped and ornamented substantially as shown and described.
