[Term of Patent 3% years] To all whom it may concern lie it known that we, Nicnoms \nnnnn, of the city of Troy, in the eountv ol' liensselaer and State of New York, and lonms llrnsrim, of the village of Lansing-lung, in said county of llensselaer, New York, havejointlv invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Cot'iking-Stovesml' which the following is aspeeitication, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving of a cooking-stove having our said new design.

One part of this invention consists of the design for the compound ornament on the panel A, composed of the vase I), having a scrollbase, 0, the pendent side vines (I (I, having the flowers c e and tendrils, with or without the extension f on the forward vine, the central flower-stem g, and the side stems/1 lt,all shaped and arranged together, in depressed form, in the surface of the panel A, so as to present substantially the same appearance as is represented in the aforesaid cut.

Another part consists of the design for the border ornamentation I, composed oi. the series of oval ornaments j. having raised scalloped edges and ribs radiating from a center, and connected by stems to two opposite angles of, and alternatingwith, the series ot'quad rangular scroll-form ornaments Ir, all shaped and arranged together, as represented in the aforesaid print.

Another part consists of the design for the oven-door, composed of the compound depressed ornament on the inner panel A, the inner border L, formed by the head in and series of obliquely-set semi-scrolls n, the inclined surfaces 0 around the said border L, and the outer border ornamentation I, all shaped and arranged together so as to appear snbstair tially as represented in the aforesaid engraving.

Another part consists of the design for the door or panel P at the end of the lire-box, composed of the inner rectangular panel q, having therein the impression ornament r, formed by top and bottom side scrolls and center stems, and surrounded by the inner border a, the inclined surfaces 0 and the outer border orna' inentations I, all shaped, ornamented, and ar ranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.

Another part consists of the design (or the front tire-door, composed of the panel T, having the lower part I! cone-ave outward, and illuminating-windows r with angular tops, the series oi inclined curved ornamentations n, and the snrrouinling border ormnnentation I, all shaped, formed, and disposed substantially as represented in the aforesaid engraving.

Another part consists of the design for the leg W, composed of the central ornament .1, formed by a central tloweestem with upwardinclined and llt'flHlOllt branches proceeding from a vase, 3 having scroll base-branehes, all depressed in the convex surface 2, having the scalloped hordertt and side scroll 1noldings 5,1111 shaped and combined as represented in the aforesaid cut.

\Vhat we claim as our joint invention is- 1. The design for the compound ornament in the panel A, composed of the vase b, with scroll-base c, pendent side vines (I d, with flowers c e and tendrils, the central flower-stem g, and the sidcstemsh li,all shaped and arranged in depressed form in the plain surface of the panel A, as herein set forth.

2. The design for the border ornamentation I, composed of the series of ornaments j, eonnectcd by stems to, and alternating with, the series of quadrangular seroll-ornaments 1;, all shaped and arranged together, as specified and shown.

3. The design for the oven-door, composed of the compound depressed ornament in the inner panel A, the inner border L, the inclined surface 0, and the outer border ornamentation I, all shaped and arranged together as shown and specified.

4. The design for the door or panel P, composed of the inner panel r having therein the depressed ornament r, the inner panel-border s, the inclined plain surfaces 0, and the outer border ornamentation I, all formed, shaped, and disposed together as shown and described.
