H. CLAY BASOOM AND CYRUS A. HODGES, OF TROY, AND TOBIAS S. HEISTER, OF LANSINGBURG, ASSIGNORS TO N. S. VEDDER PATTERN WORKS, BAS- OOM, GALBRAITH & (10., OF TROY, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,514, dated January 9, 1883.
Application filed November 17,1882. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, H. ULAY BASCOM and CYRUS A. HODGES,each acitizen of the United States, residing in the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State or New York, and TOBIAS S.HEIsTER,a citizen of the United States, residing in the village ol'Lansingbnrg, in said county and State, havejointly invented and produced a new and original Design for re Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving of a stove having said new design.
The design for the vase is not a part of this I5 invention.
The design for the panel A consists of the compound floral ornament a, surrounded by the border I), having angles in its top and bottom, large arcs in its sides, and small arcs in its 2c corners, all shaped fllldjll'ltlllged substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.
The design for the plates B of the upper section consists of the panel A, composed of the ornamental parts a and b, as above described,
the enter ornamental border, 0, and the ornamented diagonal band d, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the accompanying cut.
The design for the plate 0 of the combustion -chamber section consists of the upper panels, 0, and lower panels, f, having the ornaments g, and surrounded by the ornamented bars h, all shaped and arranged together substantially as represented in the aforesaid en- 5 graving.
The design for the fire-pot section D consists of the upper portion, 1', having the openwork ornamentationsj and the lower portion, it, having the open-work ornamentationsl m n,
all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.
The design for the side plate, E, of the ashpit section consists of the semicircular bottom ornament, o, standing ornaments p, connecting 5 base-bar q, arch 1', series of rosettes s, and ornaments t, all shaped and arranged substan tially as shown in the aforesaid engraving.
The design for the door F consists of the semicircular ornaments o, standingornaments p, and-inclined leaf-form ornaments u, shaped and arranged substantially as shown in the aforesaid cut.
The design for the legs consists of the upper ornamental are, v, lower united are, 1.0, plume ornaments :c, and star ornaments y, all shaped 5 and arranged substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.
What we claim as our invention is-- The design for the panels A, composed of the parts a and b, shaped and arranged as set forth.
2. The design for the plates B, consisting of the panel A, composed as described, in combination with the parts 0d, shaped and arranged as set forth. 6
3. The design for the plate 0, composed of the parts e f g h, shaped and arranged together as desrribed.
4. The design for the fire-potseetion D, composed of the parts i j and k l m a, shaped and arranged together as set; forth.'
5. The design for the plate E, composed of the parts 0p q r s t, shaped and arranged together as set forth.
6. The design for the door F, composed of 5 the ornaments 0 p a, shaped and arranged as described.
7. The design for the legs, composed of the parts 1: w a: y, shaped and arranged together as set forth.
