Description
本發明的目標為一種塑膠複合體。此複合體經由三個層的樣品所組成,其中兩個外層由透明聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)所組成,而內層由熱塑性聚胺基甲酸酯(TPU)所組成。此塑膠複合體通過ECE R43(附件3,2)落球試驗,且與相同規格之標準塑膠相較,具有改進的聲學特性。
EP 1 577 084(KRD Coatings GmbH)描述一種具有內側及外側之用於汽車上釉的塑膠複合片,其中內側由聚碳酸酯(PC)所組成而外側由聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯(PMMA)所組成。用以吸收塑膠PC及PMMA之不同熱擴張係數的中間層由熱塑性聚胺基甲酸酯(TPU)所組成。文中未敘述關於機械強度之數據。
WO 02/47908(VTEC Technologies)描述由三層不同塑膠所組成的上釉元件,其中一層由PMMA所組成,中間層由聚胺基甲酸酯(PU)或聚乙烯丁醛(PVB)所組成,且另一層由PC所組成。上釉元件的外側具有抗刮塗層。除耐刮性數據外,文中沒有關於上釉元件之機械強度或其他機械特性的數據。
WO 96/13137(Decoma International)描述用於汽車,例如汽車之後車窗的上釉元件,且其中係整合有加熱元件。文中沒有關於機械強度之數據。
原則上,即便無TPU或PMMA層,由PC所組成的單層釉可符合ECE R43之機械要求。然而,此等片必須設置有抗刮及抗UV層。於此之製造方法造成極高的不良率,且此為極不經濟者。此外,抗UV塗層與抗刮塗層於一個層中一起施加至PC,且此後來減低了系統的耐刮性。針對此所描述的解決方法包含其中PC具有由抗UV PMMA所組成的外層之系統。由TPU或PVB所組成的層於此作為黏合層且本質上具有於PC及PMMA層之間產生黏著力的功能。此外,於此等系統中的TPU層經由其自身的高彈性而具有用於補償兩種材料(PC及PMMA)之不同線性擴張係數的功能。此類型的層亦提供整合加熱佈線於後車窗加熱系統的機會。直PMMA片並未通過落球試驗。
本發明之一目的在於提供一種透明塑膠複合體,其通過ECE R43(附件3,2)落球試驗,且與相同規格之標準塑膠複合體相較,具有改進的聲學特性。
本發明之塑膠複合體由至少三層塑膠所組成,其中兩個外層(1)及(2)由透明聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)所組成,而內層由熱塑性聚胺基甲酸酯(TPU)(3)所組成(見第1圖)。
層(1)及(2)的厚度可為自0.5至6 mm的範圍中,較佳自1 mm至3 mm,而層(3)的厚度可為自0.5至5 mm的範圍中,較佳自0.5 mm至1.5 mm。層(1)及(2)的厚度可為相同或不同。將塑膠複合體外側的厚度設計成較塑膠複合體內側的厚度厚是較佳的。
原則上,製造不透明、材料經著色的變體並使用其作為車體附加零件是可理解的。若恰當,由透明聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)所組成的兩個外層(1)及(2)本身可依序由至少兩層PMMA所組成的複合體所組成。
此外,層(1)及(2)可由PMMA及TPU的摻合物、PMMA及苯乙烯-丙烯腈共聚物(SAN)或由PMMA及衝擊性經改良之PMMA的摻合物所組成。聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)、衝擊性經改良之PMMA(imPMMA)、PMMA或是由imPMMA及氟聚合物(如聚偏二氟乙烯(PVDF)),所組成的摻合物(其中PMMA或imPMMA及PVDF之間的混合比為例如自10:90至90:10重量份)。
若恰當,複合體亦可設置有抗刮層及另外的功能性層。
由透明聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)所組成的兩個外層(1)及(2)可設置有UV吸收劑、UV安定劑、IR-反射性顏料及添加物或彼等的混合物。
本發明之優點在於PMMA/TPU/PMMA複合體系統.符合ECE R43(尤其是落球試驗)之機械要求,且不需要聚碳酸酯層。
.相較於具有可比較之規格的單層塑膠片時,具有較佳的聲學特性。
.不似PC複合體系統,不需配備組合的抗UV-及抗刮-層。
.不似耐衝擊PMMA變體,即便處於上升或下降的溫度,不會變得渾濁。
.相較於PC時,具有較佳的彈性模數(較佳的剛度),以及.不似PC/TPU/PMMA複合體,不會因內壓而產生問題(包括因不同線性擴張係數而造成者)。
變體1:複合體片係經由熱壓(1)300×300×2mm PLEXIGLASXT20700透明玻璃、(3)300×300×1mm TPU箔(Huntsman 之Krystalflex PE 429或PE 501)及(2)300×300×2mm PLEXIGLASXT20700而製造。熱壓溫度為自80℃至140℃,而加熱時間為自30至60秒,且壓力為自10至100 kN並施加持續20至60秒。PLEXIGLASXT等級係由Rhm GmbH販售。
變體2:亦可理解,複合體經由3-組份射出成型法而製造。於此可能的方法係使用裝飾效應以印花PLEXIGLAS箔,其接著藉射出成型法逆塗以TPU及PMMA。
變體3:另一可能性係藉使用用於逆塗的PMMA(2)經由射出成型法而於模製於PMMA箔或PMMA片(1)及TPU箔(3)所組成的積層板上而製造本發明的塑膠。
用於塑膠複合體之較佳塑膠包含聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯。此類聚合物大致上由包含(甲基)丙烯酸酯之混合物的自由基聚合作用而獲得。(甲基)丙烯酸酯的措辭包含甲基丙烯酸酯及丙烯酸酯及兩者的混合物。

根據本發明之較佳面向,此等化合物包含至少40重量%,較佳至少60重量%,且尤佳至少80重量%之甲基丙烯酸甲酯,以單體重量為基準計。
除了上述的(甲基)丙烯酸酯類外,欲聚合的組成物亦可包含其他可與甲基丙烯酸甲酯及上述(甲基)丙烯酸酯類共聚合的不飽和單體。

此等共單體的一般使用量為自0至60重量%,較佳自0至40重量%,且尤佳自0至20重量%,基於單體之重量計,且可單獨地或以混合物形式使用此等化合物。
通常使用習知的自由基起始劑而起始聚合作用。較佳起始劑,尤其是熟此技藝者知悉的偶氮起始劑係例如AIBN及1,1-偶氮雙環己烷甲腈,以及過氧化合物,諸如過氧化甲基乙基酮、過氧化乙醯基丙酮、過氧化二月桂醯基、過氧2-乙基己酸第三丁酯、過氧化酮、過氧化甲基異丁酮、過氧化環己酮、過氧化二苯甲醯基、過氧苯甲酸第三丁基酯、碳酸過氧第三丁基異丙酯、2,5-雙(過氧2-乙基己醯基)-2,5-二甲基己烷、過氧2-乙基己酸第三丁基酯、過氧3,5,5-三甲基己酸第三丁基酯、過氧化二異丙苯、1,1-雙(過氧第三丁基)環己烷、1,1-雙(過氧第三丁基)-3,3,5-三甲基環己烷、異丙苯基過氧化氫、第三丁基過氧化氫、過氧二碳酸雙(4-第三丁基環己基),以及UV起始劑,諸如1,2-二苯基-2,2-二甲氧基乙酮、兩個或多個上述化合物與另一者的混合物,以及上述化合物與未提及卻可同樣能形成自由基之化合物的混合物。
此等化合物之常用含量為自0.01至10重量%,較佳自0.5至3重量%,基於單體之重量計。
上述聚合物係可單獨地使用或作為混合物。
本發明之塑膠片可示範性的由上述聚合物的模製組成物所製造。諸如擠製成型或射出成型之熱塑成形法係常用於此。
根據本發明使用作為用於製造塑膠片的模製組成物之均-及/或共聚物的重量平均莫耳質量Mw
可於大幅範圍中變化,莫耳質量通常符合所欲用途及模製組成物的處理模式。然而,其大致於自20000至1000000克/莫耳的範圍中,較佳自50000至500000克/莫耳且尤佳自80000至300000克/莫耳(非用以限制)。
尤佳之包含聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯的模製組成物係Rhm GmbH販售之品名為PLEXIGLASXT者。
塑膠片尤佳包含至少80重量%,尤其是至少90重量%之聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯,基於片的總重量計。塑膠片尤佳由聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯所組成,且此聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯可包含習知的添加物。此等由聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯所組成的塑膠片為市售者,尤其是得自Rhm GmbH之品名為PLEXIGLASXT者。
塑膠片可另外經由模具澆注製程而製造。於此作為示範例之合適的丙烯酸樹脂係放置於模中且被聚合。因此製得Rhm GmbH販售之品名為PLEXIGLASGS的片。
欲使用於塑膠片之製造的模製組成物以及丙烯酸樹脂,可另外包含習知之任何類型的添加物。此等添加物尤為抗靜電劑、抗氧化劑、脫模劑、滯焰劑、潤滑劑、染料、流動改進劑、填料、光安定劑及有機磷化合物,諸如亞磷酸鹽或膦酸鹽、顏料、風化安定劑及塑化劑。然而,添加物的含量受到相關之所欲用途的限制。
此等片為透明者或為經著色的片。著色此等片可藉例如經由染料或顏料而達成。因此,任何所欲塑膠片可根據本發明之方法與另一者組合。作為實例,可組合PLEXIGLASXT片與PLEXIGLASGS片及/或PLEXIGLASGS片與PLEXIGLASSZ片及/或PLEXIGLASLSW片與PLEXIGLASXT片,且於此可組合無色片與經著色片或組合兩個無色片或組合兩個經著色片與另一者。
針對本發明之目的,氟聚合物為經由於雙鍵處至少具有一個氟取代基的烯烴性不飽和單體之由自由基聚合作用而可獲得的聚合物。於此亦可包括共聚物。此等共聚物連同一或多個含氟單體可含有與此等含氟單體可共聚合的另外的單體。
此等含氟單體尤為氯三氟乙烯、氟乙烯基磺酸、六氟異丁烯、六氟丙烯、全氟化乙烯基甲基醚、四氟乙烯、氟乙烯及二氟乙烯。於其中以二氟乙烯為尤佳者。
所使用的熱塑性聚胺基甲酸酯包含於化合物中包含具有脂族或芳族單元的產物。
聚胺基甲酸酯(PU)為聚合物,其大分子具有經由胺甲酸乙基-NH-CO-O-鍵聯的重複單元。聚胺基甲酸酯通常經由二元或多元醇與異氰酸酯之根據下示的加成聚合作用而獲得。
於此R1及R2可為低分子量或甚至為聚合型脂族或芳族基團。業界上重要的PU係由聚酯二醇及/或聚醚二醇及,例如2,4-或2,6-二異氰酸甲苯酯(TDI,R2

於沒有溶劑或是於惰性有機溶劑中時可大致上合成PU。廣泛地使用特定胺類或有機錫化合物作為用於加成聚合作用的觸酶。使用等莫耳比之二官能性醇及異氰酸酯產生直鏈PU。若使用官能性較高的起始材料或是異氰酸酯過多,則製造出支鏈或交聯的產物,其中異氰酸根基團與胺甲酸乙基或脲基反應而分別形成如下示之脲基甲酸鹽結構或縮二脲結構:
因起始材料之選擇性及化學計量比例的作用而製造出具有非常不同之機械特性的PU,其係使用作為黏著劑或塗層(聚胺基甲酸酯樹脂)之成分、作為離子聚合物、作為用於軸承零件、輥、膠輪及軋輥之熱塑性材料,及作為呈變化硬度的纖維形式(彈性纖維,PUE為此等彈性或彈力纖維的縮寫)之彈性體,或作為聚醚-或聚酯-胺基甲酸酯橡膠(DIN ISO 1629:1981-10使用之縮寫分別為EU及AU)、作為熱固鑄模樹脂(包括玻璃強化纖維)等,亦作為泡沫塑膠;亦參見聚胺基甲酸酯橡膠、聚胺基甲酸酯塗層、聚胺基甲酸酯樹脂。於Kunststoffe 85,1616(1995),Batzer 3,158-170 Batzer 3,158-170;Domininghaus(5.),pp.1140 et seq.;Encycl.Polym.Sci.Eng.13,243-303;Houben-Weyl E 20/2,1561-1721中特別進一步描述PU。
藉於PMMA模製組成物中使用各種紅外線-反射性、無機彩色顏料,可使用此等模製組成物以製造深色塑膠模及以上述PMMA模製組成物塗覆其他塑膠模,此等模之日照加熱率明顯低於由習知的深色PMMA所組成或經塗覆之模之日照加熱率。
舉例而言,可使用下示顏料:
由變體1所製造的樣本連續地通過ECE R43(附件3,段落2.1及附件14,段落5)落球試驗。
球之掉落高度為4.37 m,球之重量為225 g且其直徑為38 mm。於各情況中,5個樣本於23℃下進行試驗,而5個樣本於-18℃下進行試驗。
結果:於任何試驗樣本中均無球穿過材料,且無碎片挫碎發生。通過試驗。
與於較高溫度中之測量相比較,-40°樣本溫度之試探性實驗於試驗樣本中產生明顯較短的裂隙。

Claims (14)
- 一種塑膠複合體,其特徵在於其由至少兩層聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層(1)、(2)及一層熱塑性聚胺基甲酸酯層(3)所組成,其中該聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層均藉由擠製成型法或射出成型法予以製造。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體,其中抗刮層係配置於該等聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層(1)、(2)的一或二個外側。
- 一種根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體之用途,其係用於上釉目的。
- 一種根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體之用途,其係作為用於噪音障壁的構件。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體,其係不透明者且其由至少兩層聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層(1)、(2)所組成,其中至少一層係經著色者。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體,其由至少兩層聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層(1)、(2)所組成,其中至少一層設置有IR-反射性顏料及添加物,或是設置有由各種IR-反射性顏料及添加物所組成的混合物。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體,其由至少兩層聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層(1)、(2)所組成,其中至少一層設置有UV吸收劑,或是設置有由各種UV吸收劑所組成的混合物。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體,其由至少兩層聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯層(1)、(2)所組成,其中至少一層設置有衝擊調節劑。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1或5項之塑膠複合體,其中該層(1)和(2)的厚度係在0.5至6mm範圍內,而該層(3)的厚度係在0.5至5mm範圍內。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1或5項之塑膠複合體,其中該層(1)和(2)的厚度係在1至3mm範圍內,而該層(3)的厚度係在0.5至1.5mm範圍內。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1或5或10項之塑膠複合體,其中該層(1)和(2)的厚度係相同。
- 一種根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體之用途,其係用於車體建構目的。
- 一種車體構件,其配置有根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體。
- 一種製造根據申請專利範圍第1項之塑膠複合體的方法,其特徵在於使用10至100kN,將塑膠薄片加熱至80℃至140℃,並擠壓持續20至60秒。
