V 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明,是關於在對熱塑性的複數片薄膜進行封合 時,或在對熱塑性的複數片不織布進行封合時,或在對上 述薄膜和上述不織布進行封合時爲適宜的封合裝置及使用 上述封合裝置之封合方法,例如是關於在製造具有封合部 的用後即棄式紙尿褲或衛生棉等時爲適宜的封合裝置及使 用上述封合裝置之封合方法。 · 【先前技術】 將熱塑性的樹脂薄膜或熱塑性的纖維所形成的不織布 等在複數片重疊的狀態下,使上述薄膜或纖維融熔封合的 封合裝置,例如是記載在以下的專利文獻1和專利文獻2 中。如上述專利文獻1的記載,該封合裝置是配置在用後 即棄式紙尿褲等的製造步驟中。 在對如上述樹脂薄膜或不織布等延伸成帶狀的軟質工 # 作件進行封合,往工作件的供給方向以一定的間距形成封 合部時,或往工作件的供給方向形成連續封合部時’封合 裝置是要能夠確實支撐上述軟質工作件並且是要能夠施加 指定張力來進行支撐。因此,如以下的專利文獻1和專利 文獻2中的記載,於習知的封合裝置中,是於旋轉筒的外 周供給工作件,使旋轉筒旋轉的同時往上述旋轉方向供給 工作件。由於是在旋轉筒的外周供給工作件,所以上述外 圍面能夠確實支撐著工作件並且藉由將工作件捲繞於上述 -4- 1265804 (2) 外圍面而得以對工作見施加指定張力。 接著,在上述旋轉筒的外圍面具備有砧,此外設有與 上述外圍面成相向的超音波喇叭,與旋轉筒一起移動的工 作件’是由上述砧和超音波喇叭所夾持,藉由來自於超音 波喇叭所施加的超音波振動,使工作件內部發熱以致融熔 封合。 〔專利文獻1〕 日本特開平5 - 1 5 5 5 1號公報 〔專利文獻2〕 日本特公平2-43 63 1號公報 【發明內容】 〔發明欲解決之課題〕 但是’如上述專利文獻1或專利文獻2的記載,於習 知的軟質工作件用封合裝置中,超音波喇叭是以與旋轉筒 的外圍面成相向的狀態固定著。然後,與旋轉筒的外圍面 一起移動的工作件,是在爲砧和超音波喇叭所夾持時,邊 滑動工作件和超音波喇叭,邊對工作件施加超音波喇叭的 超苜波振動。 因此’超音波喇叭對工作件的封合部施加超音波振動 的時間就較短’容易對工作件產生封合瑕疵。又加上,若 提昇旋轉筒的旋轉數以高速來移動工作件進行封合時,工 作件及砧和超音波喇叭的相對速度會變太快,以致對工作 -5 - 1265804 (3) 件施加的振動能量減少,因此就更容易產生封合瑕疵。 本發明是爲解上述習知課題所爲的發明,其目的在於 提供一種可使軟質工作件和砧等的第1夾持構件一起迴轉 來進行封合作業的封合裝置,以降低超音波喇叭等的第2 夾持構件和工作件的相對速度,來達到能夠充分地對工作 件施加封合用能量,其結果是能夠進行高速處理的封合裝 置及使用上述封合裝置之封合方法。 〔解決課題之手段〕 本發明,是於具備有:具第1封合相向面的第1夾持 構件;及,具第2封合相向面的第2夾持構件,熱塑性軟 質工作件是由上述第1封合相向面和第2封合相向面所夾 持著來進行封合的封合裝置中,其特徵爲:上述第1夾持 構件’是將第1封合相向面朝法線方向的外側設置在旋轉 體的外周部,上述第2夾持構件,其第2封合相向面是以 面朝著上述第1封合相向面的狀態被支撐在支撐體上;設 有可使上述旋轉體旋轉的旋轉驅動手段,及驅動上述支撐 體使上述第2封合相向面可沿著上述第1封合相向面的迴 轉軌跡上所沿著的圓周面軌跡進行往復移動的往復驅動手 段;此外,在上述第1夾持構件和上述第2夾持構件往同 方向進行移動時,上述軟質工作件是由上述第1封合相向 面和第2封合相向面夾持著進行封合。 於該封合裝置中,第2夾持構件,因是沿著第1夾持 構件的第1封合相向面的迴轉方向進行往復移動,所以就 -6 - (4) 1265804 t » 能夠使工作件及第1夾持構件和第2夾持構件的相對速度 變小’因此兩夾持構件就能夠長時間對工作件施加封合用 的能量。此外,在高速旋轉著旋轉體以進行高速處理時也 難以產生封合瑕疵。 另外’於本發明中,是構成爲當設置在旋轉體上的上 述第1夾持構件的數量爲N時,則在上述旋轉體進行1 旋轉的期間,上述第2夾持構件會進行N週期的往復移 動。 於本發明中,上述N是爲1以上。藉由以N週期來 進行第2夾持構件的往復移動,就能夠使進行迴轉的第i 夾持構件和第2夾持構件可確實夾持工作件。 上述本發明,旋轉體是以等角速度受到驅動使第1封 合相向面以一定的圓周速度V0進行移動,與上述第1封 合相向面往同方向進行移動時的第2封合相向面的圓周速 度Vt是根據時間來進行變化,在以相對速度V0-Vt進行 移動的第1封合相向面和第2封合相向面之間,上述軟質 工作件是被夾持著進行封合。 上述相對速度V〇-Vt,其與第1夾持構件的圓周速度 V 0相比是爲極小値,所以與習知相比第1夾持構件和第 2夾持構件就能夠較長時間對工作件施加封合用能量。 另,雖然上述相對速度是沒有必要爲零,但若使第2封合 相向面的速度Vt的最大値與上述圓周速度V0成一致 時,就能夠擁有上述相對速度是爲零的瞬間。 於該狀況時,最好是於第1夾持構件或第2夾持構 -7 - (19) 間,是位於旋轉體1 5的外圍面1 5 a的表面’於沾1 6的封 合相向面16a上,第1薄層72和第2薄層71’以及腰帶 7 5、7 6和腿帶7 7、7 8,都是以重疊的狀態設置著。 如第4圖所示,從旋轉體1 5的外圍面1 5 a所突出的 石占1 6的封合相向面1 6 a突出高度尺寸Η ’雖是與軟質工 作件W的液吸收體7 3存在部份的厚度Tw 1相同但卻設定 成是這以上較大的尺寸。因此’軟質工作件w具有液吸 收體7 3的部份,是設有成不會突出砧1 6的封合相向面 1 6 a進行移動的圓周面軌跡,或是設定成即使是突出也僅 是微小尺寸的突出。 在旋轉體1 5進行旋轉使第2夾持構件46進行往復運 動時,軟質工作件W不具有液吸收體7 3的部份,雖是爲 砧1 6的封合相向面1 6 a和超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面 48a所夾持著,但此時的封合相向面 16a和封合相向面 4 8 a的間隔5,是根據上述軟質工作件W不具有液吸收體 73的部份的厚度Tw2來進行微調整。該微調整,是藉由 改變上述止動器2 1和22的高度位置來執行。此外,也可 藉由改變第2夾持構件46在托座45上的設置高度來進行 微調整。藉由該微調整,使封合相向面1 6 a和封合相向面 4 8a的間隔δ得以設定成比上述厚度Tw2還小。 在封合裝置1封合動作開始之前的停止狀態下,對流 體汽缸2 3和流體汽缸2 5的內部流體壓進行減壓,使前方 軸承架7和後方軸承架9分別下降離開止動器2 1、22。 藉此使旋轉軸11沿著垂直基準線〇y進行下降,使旋轉 -22- (20) 1265804 · 體1 5的外圍面1 5 a和超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面4 8 a的 間隔變寬。於第3圖中’上述旋轉軸1 1的下降距離是以 h表示。 將軟質工作件W設定成是從導入側滾筒6 1被捲繞至 旋轉體1 5的外圍面1 5 a,然後從排出側滾筒6 2排出,當 使流體汽缸2 3和流體汽缸2 5的內部流體壓變高時,前方 軸承架7會被加壓往止動器2 1,後方軸承架9會被加壓 往止動器22,使旋轉軸1 1定位。 當封合動作執行開始時,旋轉體1 5是被驅動成往逆 時針方向(Cc w )以一定角速度進行旋轉,贴1 6的封合 相向面1 6 a是以一定的圓周速度V 0進行持續迴轉。另外 驅動旋轉體54是往逆時針方向( CCW)以一定角速度進 行旋轉,當該旋轉運動從聯結桿5 1傳至支撐體4 1時,支 撐體4 1會以轉動中心02爲支點進行往復運動。 超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面4 8 a,是邊與砧1 6的封 合相向面1 6 a之間保持著上述間隔(5,邊沿著圓周面軌道 進口往復運動。此時的超音波喇叭48的封合相向面48a 的中心0 a的圓周速度Vt,是按照三角函數進行變化,圓 周速度Vt大致爲(A· sin(|) ) 。Φ爲驅動旋轉體54的旋轉 角度,A爲視軸5 5的旋轉半徑R等而決定的定數。即, 圓周速度V t是與時間一起進行變化的可變速度。超音波 喇叭4 8的封合相向面4 8 a中心Ο a的速度,是在往旋轉體 1 5的旋轉方向進行移動時爲+ V t,往上述旋轉方向反向進 行移動時爲-Vt。 -23- (21) 1265804 · 在上述超音波喇叭4 8往逆時針方向進行移動的行程 一部份的時間中,軟質工作件W是爲砧1 6的封合相向面 1 6 a和超音波喇D八4 8的封合相向面4 8 a所夾持,也只有 在該夾持狀態的時間中執行封合動作。 第4圖,是圖示著超音波喇卩八4 8往逆時針方向進行 移動的同時,軟質工作件W是爲砧1 6的封合相向面1 6 a 和超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面4 8 a所夾持的瞬間。此時 的「封合相向面1 6a及與其一起進行移動的軟質工作件W 和上述超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面4 8 a的」相對速度是 爲VO-Vt。上述軟質工作件W和上述超音波喇叭48的封 合相向面48a,是邊以上述相對速度v〇-Vt進行彼此滑動 的同時,執行封合動作。 如第4圖和第5圖所示,於站1 6的封合相向面1 6 a 上設有一對封合圖案1 7 a和1 7 b,於軟質工作件W,是形 成有一方封合圖案1 7 a所轉印的封合部S a和另一方封合 圖案1 7b所轉印的封合部Sb。 於上述往復驅動手段5 0,設有可對驅動旋轉體5 4的 旋轉相位進行調整的旋轉相位設定手段。藉由用該旋轉相 位設定手段來設定旋轉相位,使超音波喇叭4 8的上述速 度+ V t要爲最大的位置,是能夠按照封合圖案來設定成任 意位置。 於該實施形態中,在砧1 6的封合相向面1 6 a上封合 圖案1 7a和1 7b是於圓周方向隔著間隔配置,並且,封合 圖案1 7 a和封合圖案1 7 b是對中心線〇 3成對稱配置。因 -24 - 1265804 (22) 此,是設定成當超音波喇叭48的封合相向面48a的中心 〇a到達封合圖案17a和封合圖案17b的中間時上述圓周 速度+Vt會成爲最大。更好的是,驅動旋轉體54的旋轉 相位的決定,是取決於在中心〇 a與上述中心線0 3成一 致(與垂直基準線Oy成一致)的瞬間可使上述圓周速度 + Vt成爲最大値。
設定成如此時,如第4圖所示,在封合相向面4 8 a的 中心Oa到達垂直基準線Oy當前,上述中心Oa會與封合 圖案17a成一致,使軟質工作件W被夾持在封合圖案17a 和封合相向面48a間以形成封合部Sa。然後,在封合相 向面 48a的中心 Oa往逆時針方向超越垂直基準線 Oy 時,上述中心Oa會與封合圖案17b成一致,使軟質工作 件W被夾持在封合圖案1 7b和超音波喇叭4 8間以形成封 合部Sb。
於此,若事先設定好當中心Oa位於封合圖案1 7a和 封合圖案17b的中間時,圓周速度+Vt是成爲最大値,就 能夠使中心〇a與封合圖案17a成相向時的相對速度V0-Vt和中心Oa與封合圖案17b成相向時的相對速度V0-Vt 之間的差異變得微小。最好是事先設定成當中心〇a與垂 直基準線Oy成一致時上述圓周速度+Vt是爲最大値,如 此一來,就能夠使中心0 a與封合圖案1 7 a成相向時的相 對速度V0-Vt和中心〇a與封合圖案17b成相向時的相對 速度V0-Vt爲相等。 於該狀況時,最好是,將封合相向面48a的中心Oa -25- 1265804 (23) 與垂直基準線Oy成一致時的圓周速度+Vt,與封合相向 面1 6 a的圓周速度V 0成一致。更好的是,若將封合相向 面4 8 a的中心0 a與垂直基準線〇 y成一致時的圓周速度 + Vt,形成爲要比封合相向面16a的圓周速度V〇還稍大 時,則能夠製造出中心Oa與封合圖案1 7a成相向時的相 對速度V 0 - V t和中心〇 a與封合圖案1 7 b成相向時的相對 速度V0-Vt均爲零的瞬間。 此外,封合相向面 1 6 a和封合相向面 4 8 a的的間隔 5,若於事先是設定成要比軟質工作件W的封合部形成 部份的厚度Tw2還來得足夠小時,則能夠使封合相向面 1 6 a和封合相向面4 8 a對軟質工作件W進行夾持時的夾持 壓力,是由上述流體汽缸23和流體汽缸25的流體壓來設 定。於該狀況時,藉由加壓力控制手段3 0來事先設定好 流體汽缸23內的流體壓和流體汽缸25內的流體壓,是可 經常使封合相向面16a和封合相向面48a以穩定的夾持壓 力來夾持軟質工作件W,使封合部Sa、Sb的品質容易保 持成一定的品質。 其次,就該封合裝置而言,是事先將軟質工作件W 爲砧1 6的封合相向面1 6 a和超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面 4 8 a所夾持時的封合相向面1 6 a和封合相向面4 8 a的相對 速度爲V〇-Vt,使封合相向面16a和封合相向面48a對軟 質工作件W施加封合用能量的時間能夠盡量變長。但 是,若爲了要提高封合處理速度而提高旋轉體15的旋轉 數及驅動旋轉體5 4的旋轉數時,終究還是會使超音波喇 -26- (24) 1265804 1 癱 叭48對軟質工作件W施加封合用能量的時間變短。 因此,於該封合裝置1中,旋轉體1 5旋轉數的變化 是由控制部3 3來辨識,按照上述旋轉數來調整調整閥 32,使流體汽缸23和流體汽缸25的內部流體壓得以改 變。或者是,也可按照旋轉數的變化由作業者的操作來進 行改變。藉此以在旋轉體1 5的旋轉數及驅動旋轉體54的 旋轉數變高時,增加封合相向面1 6a和封合相向面48a對 軟質工作件W的夾持壓力,反之在旋轉數變低時降低上 述夾持壓力,使上述夾持壓力能夠隨著超音波喇叭48對 軟質工作件W施加封合用能量的時間改變來設定成最佳 狀態。 此外於砧1 6設有圓筒加熱器和溫度感測器,使砧1 6 的溫度經常控制成最佳狀態。因此,於封合動作中砧1 6 的溫度不致於太低以防止封合用的熱離開砧1 6造成封合 瑕疵,或者砧1 6的溫度不致於太高以防止熱塑性樹脂容 易融熔附著在封合圖案17a、17b上等所造成的不方便。 於該封合裝置中,如第4圖所示,在超音波喇叭48 往逆時針方向進行移動時,軟質工作件W是由位於旋轉 方向前方的封合圖案1 7 a和超音波喇叭4 8的封合相向面 4 8 a所夾持,邊封合相向面4 8 a和軟質工作件W是在進行 滑動的同時進行封合以形成封合部Sa。接著這之後’軟 質工作件 W是立刻由下一個封合圖案 1 7 b和封合相向面 4 8a所夾持,使軟質工作件W和封合相向面48a是在進行 滑動的同時進行封合以形成封合部Sb。然後,超音波喇 -27- 1265804 . · (25) 叭4 8的封合相向面4 8 a,雖是以速度-Vt往時針方向進行 移動,但此時封合相向面4 8 a是離開砧1 6,於沒有砧1 6 的區域中對軟質工作件W的表面進行滑動的同時邊返回 往時針方向。在下一次封合相向面4 8 a往時針方向進行移 動時,由輪到下一次迴轉的砧1 6和超音波喇叭4 8重覆第 4圖示的封合動作。 因此,於超音波喇叭4 8上即使是經常持續施加有超 音波振動,但也只有在由封合圖案17a、17b和超音波喇 叭4 8夾持著軟質工作件W時才進行封合動作。另,也可 於事先檢測出旋轉體1 5的旋轉相位,控制成是在由封合 圖案17a、17b和超音波喇叭48夾持著軟質工作件W時 才於超音波喇叭4 8上施加有超音波振動。 此外,也可構成爲於上述垂直機準線〇y的前後設有 可對軟質工作件W的厚度進行檢測的光學感測器等檢測 手段,以在軟質工作件W的液吸收體73要載置在砧16 的封合相向面1 6a上的搬運異常產生時,能夠立刻啓動調 整閥3 2,降低流體汽缸2 3和流體汽缸2 5的內部流體 壓,使旋轉軸1 1下降,即刻能夠防止軟質工作件W的搬 運塞車等。 藉由上述封合動作,如第6(B)圖所示在軟質工作 件W上形成有的封合部Sa和封合部Sb後,是由設置在 封合裝置1後段的切斷裝置使軟質工作件W在封合部S a 和封合部Sb之間的切入線C1被切斷,以分開成各個褲 型的用後即棄式紙尿褲。 -28- (26) 1265804 另。於本發明中,也可構成爲於旋轉體1 5上設有做 爲第1夾持構件的超音波喇叭4 8,於支撐體4 1上設有做 爲第2夾持構件的砧丨6。此外,第1夾持構件和第2夾 持構件,並不限於超音波喇叭和砧,只要是熱封合用的壓 頭等’可對工作件施加封合用能量的構件均可做爲第1夾 持構件和第2夾持構件。另外,也可於上述往復驅動手段 5 〇設有旋轉凸輪,以旋轉凸輪來控制聯結桿5 1的動作。 另。也可藉由上述封合裝置1對:不織布和不織布、 薄膜和薄膜、或者不織布和薄膜進行封合,將該封合後的 複合材料供給至用後即棄式紙尿褲或衛生棉、其他製品的 製造步驟。 〔發明效果〕 如以上所述根據本發明時,可在連續進行旋轉的旋轉 體邊搬運軟質工作件的同時,降低第1夾持構件及工作件 與第2夾持構件的相對速度來進行封合動作。因此,就能 夠對工作件充分施加長時間的封合用能量,也可使旋轉體 進行高速旋轉,以高速來執行封合處理。 【圖式簡單說明】 第1圖爲表示本發明封合裝置的實施形態正面圖。 第2圖爲上述封合裝置的左側面圖。 第3圖爲對封合裝置的動作狀態進行說明時從正面看 的說明圖。 -29- 1265804 (27) 第4圖爲表示封合裝置的封合動作放大剖面圖。 第5圖爲表示砧的封合相向面和超音波喇叭的透視 圖。 第 6 ( A )圖表示帶狀體的展開狀態透視圖,第 6 (B )圖表示上述帶狀體成摺疊的軟質工作件透視圖。 〔圖號說明〕 1 :封合裝置 3 a、3 b :前方支撐框 4a、4b:後方支撐框 7 I前方軸承架 8 :軸承 9 :後方軸承架 1 0 :軸承 1 1 :旋轉軸 1 5 :旋轉體 1 5 a :外圍面 1 6 :砧(第1夾持構件) 1 6a :封合相向面(第1封合相向面) 17a、17b:封合圖案 21、22 :止動器 3 0 :加壓力設定手段 3 2 :調整閥 41 :支撐體 -30- (28) 1265804 43 :環狀的滾動軸承 4 5 :托座 46 :第2夾持構件 4 8 :超音波喇叭 4 8 a :封合相向面(第2封合相向面) 5 0 :往復驅動裝置 5 1 :聯結桿 54 :驅動旋轉體 -31 -

  1. 1265804 拾 申請專利範圍 第93 1 08903號專利申請案 中文申請專利範圍修正本 民國94年7月I4日修正 1·一種封合裝置,具備有:具第1封合相向面的第i 夾持構件、及具第2封合相向面的第2夾持構件;熱塑性 軟質工作件,是由上述第1封合相向面和第2封合相向面 夾持著來進行封合的封合裝置,其特徵爲: 上述第1夾持構件,是將第1封合相向面朝法線方向 的外側而設置在旋轉體的外周部,上述第2夾持構件,其 第2封合相向面是以面朝著上述第1封合相向面的狀態被 支撐在支撐體上; 此外,設有··可使上述旋轉體旋轉的旋轉驅動手段、 以及驅動上述支撐體,使上述第2封合相向面可沿著上述 第1封合相向面的迴轉軌跡上所沿著的圓周面軌跡進行往 復移動的往復驅動手段; 在上述第1夾持構件和上述第2夾持構件往同方向進 行移動時,上述軟質工作件是由上述第1封合相向面和第 2封合相向面夾持著進行封合。 2 ·如申請專利範圍第1項所述之封合裝置,其中,當 設置在旋轉體上的上述第1夾持構件的數量爲N時,則 在上述旋轉體進行1次旋轉的期間,上述第2夾持構件會 進行N週期的往復移動。 3 ·如申請專利範圍第1項所述之封合裝置,其中,旋 1265804
