Description
465 125 bildningen av cykliska aminer kontrolleras, genom att vid reak- tionen mellan monetanolamin och etendiamin, under katalytisk inverkan av ett fosforhaltigt ämne såsom fosforsyra, ammoniak tillföres i mängder som ligger mellan 0.5 och 10 gånger den molära mängden monoetanolamin. Denna metod ger dock inte tillräckligt hög selektivitet för dietentriamin, och monoetanolamin, etendiamin och ammoniak åtgår för att framställa dietentriamin med dyrbar eten- diamin som råvara.
KORTFATTAD REDOGÖRELSE FÖR UPPFINNINGEN Uppfinnarna har undersökt olika reaktioner mellan ammoniak och monoetanolamin och upptäckt att dietentriamin kan framställas med anmärkningsvärt hög selektivitet genom att ammoniak får reagera « med monoetanolamin under inverkan av ett fosforhaltigt ämne och etendiamin under måttliga reaktionsbetingelser.
Metoden enligt föreliggande uppfinning ligger däri att dietentriamin framställs genom att ammoniak får reagera med monoetanolamin vid ett molförhållande ammoniak/monoetanolamin från ll:l till 30:l och i närvaro av ett fosforhaltigt ämne och etendiamin.
DETALJERAD REDOGÖRELSE FÖR UPPFINNINGEN Föreliggande uppfinning avser en metod för framställning av dieten- triamin enligt ovanstående redogörelse.
Bland de fosforhaltiga ämnen som kan användas i metoden enligt föreliggande uppfinning ingår olika salter av fosforsyra, pyro- fosfater, föreningar med fosforsyra eller dess anhydrider, före- ningar med fosforsyrlighet eller dess anhydrider, alkyl- eller arylestrar av fosforsyra eller fosforsyrlighet och alkyl- eller arylsubstituerad fosforsyra eller fosforsyrlighet. Ett enstaka ämne eller en blandning kan användas.
Av fosfaterna föredras divätefosfat eller motsvarande kompositioner eller pyrofosfater som erhållits genom dehydrering därav. Exempel 465 125 på divätefosfater och motsvarande kompositioner är: ammoniumdiväte- fosfat, litiumdivätefosfat, natriumdivätefosfat, kaliumdivätefosfat, rubidiumdivätefosfat, cesiumdivätefosfat, magnesiumdivätefosfat, kalciumdivätefosfat, strontiumdivätefosfat, bariumdivätefosfat och en reaktionsprodukt mellan fosforsyra och en metall i gruppen sällsynta jordartsmetaller, varvid reaktionsprodukten har atom- kvoten 3 mellan fosfor och me" llen, såsom till exempel när fosfor- syra får reagera med en hydroxid eller oxid av ett element som skandium, yttrium, lantanium, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, prometium, samarium, europium, gadoliníum, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium eller lutetium. Andra exempel är mangandivätefosfat, järndivätefosfat, koboltdivätefosfat, zink- divätefosfat, kadmiumdivätefosfat, aluminiumdivätefosfat, tallium- divätefosfat, tenndivätefosfat, blydivätefosfat och reaktions- produkten mellan en förening med krom, gallium, indium, antimon eller vismut oc* iosforsyza, vars atomkvot fosfor/metall är 3, såsom till exempel uppstår vid reaktion mellan fosforsyra och en hydroxid eller oxid av sagda metall. Vidare ingår reaktionspro- dukter mellan nickel- eller kopparföreningar och fosforsyra, vars atomkvot fosfor/metall är 2, såsom till exempel uppstår vid teak- tion mellan fosforsyra och en hyïroxid eller oxid av sagda metall.
Användbara-är också sura pyrofosfater som uppstår vid dehydrering av ovanstående divätefosfater eller motsvarande kompositioner.
Vidare kan användas de reaktionsprodukter som uppstår vid reaktion mellan fosforsyra och en förening med någon metall ur grupp IVa eller Va i periodiska systemet, till exempel en produkt med at n- kvoten P/Ti=2, P/Zr=2, P/Hf=2, P/V=2, P/Y-=2 eller P/Ta=2, såsom titandivätefosfat eller zirkoniumdivätefusfat.
Dessutom kan monovätefosfater användas, till exempel diammonium- vätefosfat, berylliumvätefosfat, magnesiumvätefosfat, kalciumväte- fosfat, strontiumvätefosfat, bariumvätefosfat, skandiumvätefosfat, yttriumvätefosfat, lantaniumvätefosfat, ceriumvätefosfat, praseo- dymiumvätefosfat, neodymiumvätefosfat, prometiumvätefosfat, sama- riumvätefosfat, europiumvätefosfat, gadoliniumvätefosfat, terbium- 465 125 vätefosfat, dysprosiumvätefosfat, holmiumvätefosfat, erbiumväte- fosfat, thuliumvätefosfat, ytterbíumvätefosfat, lutetiumvätefosfat, kromvätefosfat, manganvätefosfat, järnvätefosfat, koboltvätefosfat, níckelvätefosfat, kopparvätefosfat, silvervätefosfat, zinkväte- fosfat, kadmiumvätefosfat, kvícksilvervätefosfat, aluminiumväte- fosfat, galliumvätefosfat, indiumvätefosfat, talliumvätefosfat, tennvätefosfat, blyvätefosfat, antimonvätefosfat och vismutväte- fosfat. Därutöver kan användas reaktíonsprodukten vid reaktion mellan fosforsyra och en förening med en metall ur grupp IVa eller Va i periodiska systemet, till exempel en produkt med följande atomkvot: P/Ti=1, P/Zr=1, P/Hf=1, P/V=1, P/Nb=1.5 eller P/Ta=1.5.
Användbara är också vanliga salt av fosforsyra, såsom borfosfat, skandiumfosfat, yttriumfosfat, lantaniumfosfat, ceriumfosfat, praseodymiumfosfat, neodymiumfosfat, prometiumfosfat, samarium- fosfat, europiumfosfat, gadoliniumfosfat, terbíumfosfat, dyspro- siumfosfat, holmiumfosfat, erbiumfosfat, thuliumfosfat, ytter- biumfosfat, lutetiumfosfat, kromfosfat, järnfosfat, aluminiumf fosfat och vismutfosfat.
Föreningar med fosforsyra inkluderar exempelvis: ortofosforsyra, pyrofosforsyra, metafosforsyra och kondenserade fosforsyror som polyfosforsyra.
Föreningar med fosforsyrlighet inkluderar till exempel ortofosfor- syrlighet. Vidare kan mono-, di-, trialkyl- eller arylestrar med fosforsyror eller fosforsyrlighet användas som katalysatorer enligt föreliggande uppfinning, med företräde för de alkylgrupper som har 1 - 8 kolatomer och de arylgrupper som har 6 - 20 kolatomer, det vill säga fenylgruppen eller en alkylsubstituerad fenylgrupp.
Trietylfosfat, trietylfosfit, fenylfosfat eller fenylfosfit kan till exempel användas.
Exempel på alkyl- eller arylsubstituerade fosforsyror med före- trädesvis 1 - 8 respektive 6 - 20 kolatomer är fenylfosfinsyra, 465 125 etylfosfinsyra, fenylfosfonsyra och naftylfosfonsyra.
Bland ovannämnda fosforhaltiga ämnen föredras särskilt diväte- fosfaten, fosfaten med vanadin och fosfaten med sällsynta jordarts- metaller.
Mängden fosforhaltigt ämne som katalysator kan vara mellan omkring 0.01 till 1 mol, räknat på fosfor, per 1 mol monoetanolamin i råvaran. Mindre än 0.1 mol visar inte tillräckligt hög aktivitet, medan mer an 1 mol kan vara onödigt.
Enligt föreliggande uppfinning tillsätts vanligen mellan 0.1 och moler etandiamin per 1 mol monoetanolamin.
Om mindre än 0.1 mol etendiamin tillsätts minskas selektiviteten för dietentriamin genom samtidig bildning av etendiamin, amino- etyletanolamin, piperazin eller aminoetylpiperazin. Ä andra sidan ökas inte selektiviteten för dietentriamin i signifikant grad medan reaktionskärlets omsättningsgrad minskar när mer än 5 moler etendiamin tillsätts.
Företrädesvis tillsätts därför mellan 1 och 2 moler etendiamin.
Vid metoden enligt föreliggande uppfinning får amoniak och mono- etanolamin reagera med varandra vid ett molförhållande ammoniak/ monoetanolamin på minst 11. Om molförhållandet vid reaktionen är mindre än 11, åtgår stora mängder etendiamin, vilket gör metoden misslyckad. Molförhållandet är företrädesvis 11 till 30. Högre mol- förhållande leder till bättre selektivitet för dietentriamin men till sämre omsättningsgrad för reaktionskärlet. Rtaktionen får vanligen ske vid en temperatur på 200 till 40000. Vid temperaturer lägre än 20000 sjunker reaktionshastigheten, medan högre temperatur än 40006 leder till ökad termisk nedbrytning av dietentriamin. Lämpligaste temperaturen ligger mellan 250 och 300°C. Visserligen beror reak- tionstiden på mängden katalysator och på temperaturen, men mellan omkring 30 min och 8 h brukar räcka. 465 125 Reaktionen kan få ske antingen i vätskefas eller gasfas, men vätskefas med ett tryck på vanligen över 200 kp/cmz är att före- dra. Vätskefas föredras därför att cykliska föreningar som piperazin och aminopíperazin bildas i stora mängder i gasfas.
Föreliggande metod fungerar godtagbart både vid satsvis körning och vid körning i strömande medium, men strömmande medium är att föredra med tanke på frånskiljning av katalysatorn. Omsätt- ningen i reaktionskärlet blir ungefär 0.1 till 10 g reaktanter samanlagt per ml katalysator och timme, företrädesvis omkring 0.2 till 2.
Ovannämnda katalysator kan bäras av en bärare av typ kiselgur, kiseldioxid eller aluminiumoxíd. Bildad dietentriamin kan lätt avskiljas ur reaktionsblandningen, till exempel genom destille- ring.
Eftersom metoden enligt föreliggande uppfinning möjliggör fram- ställning av dietentriamin av ammoniak och monoetanolamin i huvud- 29 sak utan åtgång av dyrbare etendiamin, som tillsätts men inte ut- nyttjas som råvara enligt uppfinningen, har metoden stort indust- riellt värde.
Föreliggande uppfinning illustreras närmare med följande exempel: EXEMEL 1 18.3 g (0.3 mol) monoetanolamin, 18.0 g (0.3 mol) etendiamin och 3.18 g aluminiumdivätefosfat (0.03 mol m a p P) infördes i en autoklav på 300 ml försedd med magnetisk omrörare. Sedan luften i autoklaven ersatts med kvävgas infördes 56.2 g (3.3 mol) flytande amoniak och blandningen värmdes till 27000, vilken temperatur sedan fick råda i 3 h. Trycket var 280 kp/cmz. Lösningen kyldes sedan till rumstemperatur med sänkt tryck, varefter lösningen togs ut och analyserades gaskromatografiskt. 465 125 81 Z 70 Z Omvandling av monoetanolamin Selektivitet för dietentriamin Under de beskrivna betingelserna (meä -tt molförhållande NH3/ monoetanolamín på 11) återstod samma mängd etendiamin i lösningen, 18.0 g, som hade tillförts. Detta innebär att dietentriamin syntetiserats i en reaktion med enbart monoetanolamin och amoniak som råvaror.
EXEMEEL 2 Proceduren i Exempel 1 upprepades med den skillnaden att mängden flytande ammoniak var 66.4 g (3.9 mol).
Omvandling av monoetanolamin 76 Z Selektivitet för dietentriamin 74 % Selektivitet för etendiamin 2 Z Und på 13) ökade mängden etendiamin i förhållande till mängden före dessa betingelser (med ett_molförhållande NH3/monoetanolamin reaktionen. Ökningen av må gden etendiamin var 2 Z räknat på omvandlad monoetanolamin.
EXEMEL 3 Proceduren i Exempel 1 upprepades med den skillnaden att mängden flytande amoníak var 76.6 g (4.5 mol).

Den förbrukade mängden etendiamin var 2 Z räknat på mängden omvandlad monoetanolamin.
EXEMTEL 4 TILL 24 Proceduren i Exempel 1 upprepades med de skillnaderna att olika katalysatorer användes, i mängder som motsvarade 0.03 mol m a p P.

Sedan luften i autoklaven ersatts av kvävgas infördes 25.5 g (1.5 mol) flytande ammoniak och blandningen uppvärmdes till 270°C vilken temperatur fick råda i 3 h. Sedan kyldes reaktionslösningen, lösningen togs ut och analyserades gaskromato- grafiskt.
Omvandling av monoetanolamin 100 Z Selektívitet för monoetanolamin 33 Z Selektívitet för trietendiamín 8 % Selektívitet för piperazin 14 Z Selektívitet för amínoetylpiperazin 17 Z Under dessa betingelser (med ett molförhållande NH3/monoetanolamin på ) åtgick 22 Z av etendiamin räknat på omvandlad monoetanolamin.
Vidare hade selektiviteten för dietentriamin sjunkit kraftigt och stora mängaer cykliska föreningar som piper fin och aminoetylpiperazin hade bildats.
KONTROLL 3 Proceduren i Exempel 1 upprepades med den skillnaden att ingen etendiamin tillsattes.
Omvandling av monoetanoldiamin 65 Z Selektívitet för díetentriamin 32 Z Selektívitet för etendiamin 44 Z I detta fall var selektiviteten låg också för dietentriamin medan stora mängder etendiamín bildades.
EXEMEL 25 Framställning av katalysator 112.8 g lantannitrathexahydrat upplöstes i 300 ml vatten och 168 g 465 125 12 kiselgur tillsattes. Under omrörning tillsattes till denna suspen- sion 449.S g av en 20-procentíg lösning av ammoniumdivätefosfat i vatten. Sedan lösningen uppvärmts och índunstats, torkades den i 3 h vid 12o°c och upphettades i ugn i 3 h vid 4oo°c. ü Framställning av dietentriamin Katalysator som framställts enligt ovan, siktad med 12 - 16 mesh, med ett molförhållande P/La på 3 och innehållande 40 Z motsvarande La(h3P04) i kiselgur, infördes till en mängd om 150 ml i ett reaktionskärl av rostfritt stål med inre diametern 15 mm och längden 1m. Amoniak, monoetanolamin och etendiamin matades in med mol- förhållandena 18 för NH3/monoetanolamin och 2 för etendiamin/mono- etanolamin i en takt som motsvarande 1 g blandning per ml kataly- sator per h. Reaktionskärlet hölls vid 260°C med trycket 320 kp/cmz.
Reaktionslösningen analyserades: Omvandling av monoetanolamin 65 Z Selektivitet för dietentriamin 91 Z F Selektivitet för trietendiamin 6 Z Selektivitet för etendiamin 2 Z En kombination av stationär bädd och strömmande medium enligt detta exempel är att föredra vid industriell produktion av dietentriamin enligt föreliggande uppfinning.
Om högre polyaminer än dietentriamin önskas framställda, är detta möjligt i tillräckliga mängder genom att återföra den bildade dietentriaminen tillbaka till reaktionskärlet.
Claims (6)
1. Metod för att framställa dietentriamin genom att låta ammoniak och monoetanolamin reagera, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att reaktionen sker vid ett molförhållande ammoniak/monoetanolamin från 1l:1 till 30:1 och i närvaro av ett fosforhaltigt ämne och etendiamin.
2. Metod enligt krav 1, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att reaktionen sker i vätskefas.
3. Metod enligt något av kraven 1-2, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att reaktionen sker i en stationär bädd.
4. Metod enligt något av kraven 1-3, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att reaktionen sker i strömmande medium.
5. Metod enligt något av kraven 1-4, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att det fosforhaltiga ämnet är divätefosfat.
6. Metod enligt något av kraven l-5, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att det fosforhaltíga ämnet är ett fosfat av en sällsynt jordartsmetall.
