Abstract

1. Композиция, включающая (a) частичный или полный конденсат уреидосилана (b) частицы коллоидного оксида и (c) воду. ! 2. Композиция по п. 1, в которой уреидосилан (a) имеет общую формулу (II): ! ! в которой каждый R независимо представляет собой водород, алкил с 1-6 атомами углерода, циклоалкил, алкенил с 1-6 атомами углерода, арилен или алкарилен; R1 представляет собой замещенную или незамещенную алифатическую или ароматическую группу; R2 является одновалентной углеводородной группой с 1-10 атомами углерода; R3, каждый независимо, выбран из группы, содержащей водород, линейный или разветвленный алкил, линейный или разветвленный алкоксизамещенный алкил или линейный или разветвленный ацил; и а = 0, 1 или 2. ! 3. Композиция по п.1, в которой коллоидный оксид является оксидом церия, оксидом кремния или их смесью. ! 4. Композиция по п.1, в которой количество (a) составляет от приблизительно 0,01 до 80 вес.%, а количество (b) составляет от приблизительно 0,001 до 36 вес.%. ! 5. Композиция по п.1, где данная композиция по существу не содержит опасных загрязнений воздуха и/или летучих компонентов. ! 6. Способ обработки металлической поверхности для образования на ней конверсионного или пассивирующего покрытия, включающий контактирование указанной металлической поверхности с композицией, содержащей (a) частичный или полный конденсат уреидосилана; (b) частицы коллоидного оксида металла или частицы коллоидного оксида кремния; с) воду и d) необязательно вспомогательное вещество, которым является алкоксисилан, отличный от уреидоалкоксисилана (а). ! 7. Способ по п.6, в котором уреидосилан имеет общую формулу (II) ! ! в которой каждый R независимо представляет собой водоро�

Claims (10)

1. Композиция, включающая (a) частичный или полный конденсат уреидосилана (b) частицы коллоидного оксида и (c) воду.
2. Композиция по п. 1, в которой уреидосилан (a) имеет общую формулу (II):

в которой каждый R независимо представляет собой водород, алкил с 1-6 атомами углерода, циклоалкил, алкенил с 1-6 атомами углерода, арилен или алкарилен; R1 представляет собой замещенную или незамещенную алифатическую или ароматическую группу; R2 является одновалентной углеводородной группой с 1-10 атомами углерода; R3, каждый независимо, выбран из группы, содержащей водород, линейный или разветвленный алкил, линейный или разветвленный алкоксизамещенный алкил или линейный или разветвленный ацил; и а = 0, 1 или 2.
3. Композиция по п.1, в которой коллоидный оксид является оксидом церия, оксидом кремния или их смесью.
4. Композиция по п.1, в которой количество (a) составляет от приблизительно 0,01 до 80 вес.%, а количество (b) составляет от приблизительно 0,001 до 36 вес.%.
5. Композиция по п.1, где данная композиция по существу не содержит опасных загрязнений воздуха и/или летучих компонентов.
6. Способ обработки металлической поверхности для образования на ней конверсионного или пассивирующего покрытия, включающий контактирование указанной металлической поверхности с композицией, содержащей (a) частичный или полный конденсат уреидосилана; (b) частицы коллоидного оксида металла или частицы коллоидного оксида кремния; с) воду и d) необязательно вспомогательное вещество, которым является алкоксисилан, отличный от уреидоалкоксисилана (а).
7. Способ по п.6, в котором уреидосилан имеет общую формулу (II)

в которой каждый R независимо представляет собой водород, алкил с 1-6 атомами углерода, циклоалкил, алкенил с 1-6 атомами углерода, арилен или алкарилен; R1 - замещенная или незамещенная алифатическая или ароматическая группа; R2 - одновалентная углеводородная группа с 1-10 атомами углерода; и R3, каждый независимо, выбран из группы, содержащей водород, линейный или разветвленный алкил, линейный или разветвленный алкоксизамещенный алкил или линейный или разветвленный ацил; и а = 0, 1 или 2.
8. Способ по п.6, в котором оксид металла является оксидом церия или в котором композиция дополнительно содержит оксид кремния или смеси оксида церия и оксида кремния.
9. Способ по п.6, в котором конверсионное или пассивирующее покрытие составляет больше 0,5 мг на квадратный фут указанной поверхности.
10. Способ по п.6, в котором композиция по существу не содержит опасных загрязнений воздуха и/или летучих компонентов.
