Abstract
La invencion describe un metodo para preparar un polinucleotido, el metodo comprende: a) poner en contacto una primera composicion de polinucleotidos con una sal de cation multivalente para precipitar una primera sal de polinucleotidos, en donde la sal de cation multivalente comprende un contraion de cation divalente o un contraion de cation trivalente; b) separar la primera sal de polinucleotidos de la primera composicion de polinucleotidos contactada para producir una segunda composicion de polinucleotidos que comprende la primera sal de polinucleotidos, en donde la primera composicion de polinucleotidos comprende: (i) imetelstat; y (ii) reactivos y productos sinteticos no objetivo solubles; c) poner en contacto la segunda composicion de polinucleotidos del paso b) con un soporte de cromatografia de fase inversa; y d) eluir del soporte de cromatografia de fase inversa una tercera composicion de polinucleotido que comprende una segunda sal de polinucleotido soluble. Asimismo, describe una composicion que comprende: una sal precipitada de un polinucleotido que comprende un contraion de cationes multivalentes, en donde el contraion de cationes multivalentes comprende un contraion de cation divalente o un contraion de cation trivalente; donde el polinucleotido es imetelstat
