Abstract

Det beskrives fremgangsmåter for avgiftning av en blanding av nrtrilforbindelser, eller en blanding av nitril- og amidforbindelser, ved omdannelse av nitrilforbindelsene til de tilsvarende amid- eller syreforbindelser ved bruk av en renkultur av en indusert mikroorganismestamme som er i stand til å omdanne en nitrildel til en amid- eller syredel. Dersom et amid dannes eller foreligger i blandingen, kan amidet omdannes videre til den tilsvarende syre, ved å benytte foreliggende fremgangsmåter for avgiftning. Syren kan deretter om ønskes, nedbrytes videre til COz. H2O og biomasse. De induserte renkulturene er i stand til å avgifte en blanding av nitriler eller en blanding av nitriler og amider som i alminnelighet forekommer i høye konsentrasjoner, i nitrilproduksjonsavfallsstrømmer. Videre beskrives fremgangsmåter for fjerning av en nitrilforbindelse fra en amidfremstilling, så som en acetamid- eller akrylamidfremstilling som inneholder en uønsket nitrilforbindelse, ved å benytte en indusert renkultur av en indusert mikroorganismestamme som er i stand til å omdanne en nitrildel til en amid- eller syredel. Renkulturene er i stand til å rense eller redusere toksisiteten av amidfremstillingen slik at det oppnås forbedret renhet og amidproduktutbytte fra amidfremstillingen. Videre beskrives fremgangsmåter for omdannelse av en blanding av amidforbindelser til de tilsvarende syreforbindelser ved å benytte en renkultur av en indusert mikroorganismestamme som er i stand til å omdanne en amiddel til en syredel. Det beskrives også sett og biofiltere som inneholder de nyttige mikroorganismestammene, samt fremgangsmåter for anvendelse av settene og biofilterne til avgiftning.
