Abstract

Det beskrives tilveiebringelse av smistål med raffinerte inklusjoner for å oppnå smidde deler med utmerkede tretthetskarakteristika, og det beskrives en brukbar metode for fremstilling av slikt smistål. Videre tilveiebringes det videre smidde deler og særlig faste veivakslinger, fremstilt fra slikt smidd stål som nevnt ovenfor med raffinerte inklusjoner i stand til å utøve gode tretthetskarakteristika. Stålet, som beskrevet ovenfor, karakteriseres ved innholdet av oppløst Mg i stålet til rundt 0,04-5 ppm og innholdet av oppløst Al konsentrasjon i stålet til rundt 50-500 ppm.
