Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av dioksolan ved omsetning av etylenglykol (1) med formaldehyd i vandig oppløsning (2) i nærvær av katalysatorer, hvori reaksjonen gjennomføres i en reaktiv destillasjonskolonne (RDK), hvor utgangsmaterialene etylenglykol (1) og vandig formaldehydløsning (2) føres inn i den reaktive destillasjonskolonne (RDK) i midtregionen av kolonnen og en dioksolanomfattende strøm (3) tas ut fra den øvre region av den reaktive destillasjonskolonne (RDK) og en bunnstrøm (4) omfattende komponenter med kokepunkter høyere enn kokepunktet av dioksolan tas ut, er beskrevet.
