Oppfinnelsen vedrører et bor (4) og en anordning henholdsvis en fremgangsmåte for boring av borehull i arbeidsstykket (3), idet det på borets (4) borhode (5) utøves en periodisk virkende radialkraft (19). Borets (4) borhode (5) har et skjær (52) som bare strekker seg over en del av diameteren D(51), og borhodet er videre forsynt med et sideveis, V-formet sponfjerningsspor henholdsvis -renne (59) samt en kanal (12) med en utløpsåpning (56) i borhodet (5) for tilføring av et borfluid (9). På en relativt renne (59) fravent borside (61) av borhodet (5) er det mellom en første og en andre sylindermanteldelflate (64, 65) av borhodet (5) utformet en inntrekning (63) som reduserer borhodets (5) tverrsnitt relativt en omhyllende sylindermantelflate (62) for borhodet (5).
