Abstract

Los manguitos y elementos de mazarotaje y alimentacion, aislantes o exotérmicos, se obtienen por soplado o moldeo manual de una formulacion que comprende microesferas huecas de silicato de aluminio con un contenido en alumina inferior al 38% en peso, un aglomerante y unas cargas opcionales, en forma no fibrosa; dependiendo de la densidad de las microesferas se pueden obtener formulaciones adecuadas para fabricar manguitos y elementos de mazarotaje y alimentacion aislantes o exotérmicos; los manguitos obtenidos tienen exactitud dimensional externa e interna y se pueden acoplar al molde después de confeccionados, sin manipulaciones adicionales y de forma manual o automático; estos manguitos tienen interés en la fabricacion de piezas férreas o no férreas.
