Abstract

<B>AREIA DE MOLDAGEM ADEQUADA PARA FABRICAR MACHOS E MOLDES DE FUNDIçãO<D>. A areia de moldar consiste de microesferas de silicato de alumínio ocas, preferivelmente com um conteúdo de alumínio entre 15 e 45% por peso, uma espessura de parede entre 3 e 10% diâmetro da partícula e um tamanho de partícula entre 10 e 350 Ám. Estas são úteis para fabricação de machos de baixa densidade com boas características de ''enervação'' e penetração, além de manter as propriedades mecânicas do macho pertinente. Estes machos são úteis na fabricação de ferro fundido.
