Abstract
Para seguir e inspeccionar un borde (13) comun entre las dos preformas (6, 7) de metal de lámina que van a ser soldados juntos, se proyecta un patron de línea (5) a través del borde (13) mediante un proyector (2) y se forma la imagen mediante una cámara (3). La imagen capturada es analizada para derivar a partir del trazo de la informacion de las líneas sobre el claro entre las preformas o sobre el carril del borde. El patron proyectado tiene diversas líneas con diferentes intensidades de luz. Cuando la imagen fotografiada es procesada, entonces es posible, incluso si hay variacion en las características de reflexion de las preformas de metal de lámina, seleccionar una línea que no es ni muy débil ni muy brillante en la imagen obtenida y que por lo tanto se puede usar para análisis significativo.
