Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para la fabricación de una pieza metálica hueca por medio de fundición, dicho método que comprende los siguientes pasos de: proporcionar un núcleo destructible (20) que tiene un cuerpo (22) hecho de agregados y una cubierta externa (40) que rodea el cuerpo (22) y está adherida al mismo; colocar el núcleo (20) en un molde (50); fundir e inyectar metal líquido, generalmente bajo presión, en el molde (50) alrededor del núcleo, dicho núcleo (20) que forma un espacio interno en la pieza; después de la solidificación de la pieza, se desintegra el cuerpo y se remueve el mismo a través de salidas provistas en la cubierta externa y la pieza; y destruir la cubierta externa y remover la misma a través de salidas provistas en la pieza.
