Abstract
En un aspecto, la invención se dirige a un semi-soporte para el uso en un bastidor de vehículo, que comprende un miembro extremo fundido o moldeado, formado de un primer material y primera y segunda salientes o piezas cortas de travesaño tubulares que se extienden desde el miembro extremo fundido. Las primera y segunda salientes de travesaño tubulares se hacen de un segundo material. Cada una de las salientes de travesaño tubulares tiene un interior que se configura para recibir de manera sellante un núcleo para usarse en prevenir o evitar el llenado de la saliente con el primer material fundido durante la fundición del miembro extremo fundido.
