Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un mutante de sulfhidrilasa 0-fosfoserina (OPSS) el cual tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos derivada de Mycobacterium smegmatis correspondiente a la de SEQ ID NO: 1 que carece de tres a siete residuos de aminoácidos del terminal C. También, una molécula de ácido nucleico codificando el mutante OPSS, un vector de expresión transportando la molécula de ácido nucleico, y un transformante transformado con el vector de expresión se describen. Además, se proporciona un método para producir cisteína en el cual la O-fosfo-L-serina (OPS) reacciona con un sulfuro en la presencia del mutante de OPSS. El mutante de OPSS ha mejorado su actividad enzimática y puede aplicarse a la producción amigablemente ambiental de L-cisteína a través de una reacción simple de conversión enzimática.
