Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo de transferencia de muestras (10) adaptado para recibir una muestra de sangre. El dispositivo de transferencia de muestras incluye un alojamiento (14) y un elemento de activación (28). Un material deformable (16) está dispuesto dentro del alojamiento y puede deformarse desde una posición inicial en la cual el material se adapta para contener la muestra a una posición deformada en la cual al menos una porción de la muestra se libera desde el material. Un elemento viscoelástico (18) está dispuesto dentro del alojamiento entre el material y el alojamiento y entre el material y el elemento de activación. El elemento viscoelástico se acopla con el elemento de activación y el material de tal manera que el movimiento del elemento de activación desde una primera posición a una segunda posición deforma el material desde la posición 10 inicial a la posición deformada.
