Abstract
Un método para activar una superficie de un sustrato de plástico formado a partir de: (a) poliariletercetona tal como poliéter éter cetona (PEEK), poliéter cetona cetona (PEKK), poliéter cetona (PEK); poliéter éter cetona cetona (PEEKK); o poliéter cetona éter cetona cetona (PEKEKK); (b) un polímero que contiene un grupo fenilo directamente unido a un grupo carbonilo, opcionalmente en donde el grupo carbonilo es parte de un grupo amida, tal como poliarilamida (PARA); (c) sulfuro de polifenileno (PPS); o (d) polieterimida (PEI); para la unión posterior, el método comprende la etapa de exponer la superficie a radiación actínica en la que la radiación actínica: incluye radiación con longitud de onda en el rango de aproximadamente 10 nm a aproximadamente 1000 nm; la energía de la radiación actínica a la que está expuesta la superficie está en el rango de aproximadamente 0.5 J/cm2 a aproximadamente 300 J/cm2.
