Abstract
Se proporcionan composiciones que incluyen una nueva cepa de Bacilius thuringiensis designada RTI545 para usar en el beneficio del crecimiento de plantas y el control de plagas de plantas. En particular, la cepa RTI545 es de utilidad para controlar las plagas de nematodos, insectos y hongos en plantas. Las composiciones incluyen semillas de plantas recubiertas con la cepa RTI545. Las composiciones se pueden aplicar solas o en combinación con otros insecticidas, fungicidas, nematicidas, bactericidas, herbicidas, extractos de plantas, reguladores del crecimiento de plantas o fertilizantes microbianos, biológicos o químicos. En un ejemplo, se proporcionan mayor crecimiento y control de insectos al suministrar al momento de la plantación una combinación de un insecticida químico como bifentrina y un fertilizante líquido a plantas o semillas tratadas con RTI545.
