Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un aparato de procesamiento de metal fundido que incluye una estructura de contención de metal fundido, para la recepción y transporte de metal fundido a lo largo de una distancia longitudinal de la misma. El aparato incluye además una unidad de enfriamiento para la estructura de contención que incluye un canal de enfriamiento para el paso de un medio líquido a través del mismo; y una sonda ultrasónica dispuesta en relación con el canal de enfriamiento, de tal modo que las ondas ultrasónicas se acoplen a través del medio líquido del canal de enfriamiento y a través de la estructura de contención de metal fundido, hasta el metal fundido mismo.
