Abstract
Un cable HTS enfriado criogénicamente se configura para incluirlo dentro de una rejilla de potencia de una instalación que tiene una corriente de falla máxima que ocurriría en la ausencia de un cable HTS enfriado criogénicamente; el cable HTS enfriado criogénicamente incluye una trayectoria continua de refrigerante líquido para hacer circular un refrigerante; una disposición continuamente flexible de cables HTS tiene una característica de impedancia que atenúa la comente de falla máxima en por lo menos 10%; la disposición continuamente flexible de cables HTS está configurada para permitir que opere el cable HTS enfriado criogenicamente, durante la ocurrencia de una condición máxima de falla, con una elevación de temperatura máxima en los cables HTS que es lo suficientemente baja para prevenir la formación de burbujas de gas dentro del refrigerante líquido.
