Abstract
La invención se refiere a una mezcla de materiales de moldeo para la producción de moldes de fundición para el procesamiento metálico, un procedimiento para la producción de moldes de fundición, los moldes de fundición obtenidos con el procedimiento así como su uso. Para la producción de los moldes de fundición se utiliza un material de moldeo base refractario así como un aglutinante a base de vidrio soluble. Al aglutinante se le agrega una fracción de un óxido metálico en partículas, que se selecciona del grupo de dióxido de silicio, óxido de aluminio, óxido de titanio y óxido de zinc, prefiriéndose utilizar el dióxido de silícico amorfo sintético. L a mezcla de materiales de moldeo contienen como componente esencial un carbohidrato. Mediante la adición de carbohidratos puede mejorarse la resistencia mecánica y los moldes de fundición.
