Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para la producción de ácido acrílico mediante la oxidación en fase vapor de acroleína con un gas que contiene oxígeno molecular en presencia de un catalizador formado de un óxido o un óxido compuesto de una composición de elemento metálico representado por la fórmula I que sigue: MoaVbWcCudXeYf en donde Mo es molibdeno, V es vanadio, W es tungsteno, Cu es cobre, X es cuando menos un elemento elegido del grupo que consiste de circonio, titanio, y cerio, Y es cuando menos un elemento elegido del grupo que consiste de magnesio, calcio, estroncio y bario y los subscritos a, b, c,d, e y f son tales, que b 1 a 14 0c
