Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de purification de l'anthraquinone brute obtenue par oxydation de naphtalène en naphtoquinone, réaction du produit d'oxydation sur le butadiene pour obtenir le tétrahydroanthraquinone, oxydéshydrogénation de ce produit de réaction par l'oxygène moléculaire pour obtenir une anthraquinone brute, et éventuellement séparation du naphtalène, de l'anhydride phtalique et des fractions de bas point d'ébullition de cette anthraquinone brute. On traite l'anthraquinone brute par un composé oxygéné des éléments du premier et/ou du second groupe de la Classification périodique des éléments, à haute température, éventuellement en presence d'un solvant, et on isole du produit ainsi traité l'anthraquinone purifiée, par des techniques physiques. Faible coloration.
