Abstract

Claims (8)

  1. 개별 라인 간격 동안 화상 엘리먼트의 라인을 표시하는 다수의 디스플레이의 칼럼용 구동 신호를 형성하기 위한 칼럼 구동 회로에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이내의 개별 다수의 화상 엘리먼트에 대응하는 디지털 값을 홀딩하는 다수의 저장 셀을 가지는 레지스터 수단; 상기 디지털 값을 표현하는 아날로그 신호 레벨을 각각 발생하는 상기 다수의 저장 셀의 각각에 결합되는 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기; 및 상기 라인 시간의 절반보다 더 큰 간격동안 상기 디스플레이의 상기 개별 다수의 칼럼을 구동하는 신호를 형성하는 상기 아날로그 신호 레벨에 응답하는 구동기 증폭기 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이는 액정 디스플레이이며 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단은 상기 디지털 값의 덜 중요한 비트의 그룹을 개별적으로 처리한 다음에 상기 디지털 값의 가장 중요한 비트의 그룹을 처리하는 캐패시터 어레이 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  3. 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단은 상기 가장 중요한 비트의 처리가 완료될 때까지 상기 디지털의 덜 중요한 비트의 상기 그룹을 대표하는 아날로그 전압을 홀딩하기 위한 저장 캐패시터 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  4. 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단은 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단이 상기 구동기 증폭기 수단의 출력에 영향을 주지않고 전압 범위를 스위칭하도록 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단과 상기 구동기 증폭기 수단 사이에 효과적으로 배치되는 스위칭 수단을 추가로 포함하여 적어도 2개 전압 범위에서 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  5. 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단은 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단이 상기 구동기 증폭기 수단의 출력에 영향을 주지않고 전압 범위를 스위칭하도록 상기 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기 수단과 상기 구동기 증폭기 수단 사이에 효과적으로 배치되는 스위칭 수단을 추가로 포함하여 적어도 2개 전압 범위에서 동작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 구동기 증폭기 수단은 상기 구동기 증폭기 수단을 자동 측정하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  7. 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 회로는, 상기 디스플레이의 온도를 감지하여 그것에 대응하는 디지털 값을 형성하기 위한 온도 감지 수단과; 디지털 형태로 상기 디스플레이의 수명을 표시하기 위한 수단과;
    상기 온도 감지 수단에 응답하여 상기 칼럼 구동기 회로에 감마 교정된 디지털 입력을 제공하기 위한 감마 교정 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼럼 구동기 회로.
  8. 소정 수의 디지털 값을 수신하기 위한 수단; 상기 소정 수의 디지털 값의 하나의 그룹과 아날로그 신호값에 대응하는 상기 소정 수의 디지털 값의 다른 그룹 둘다를 개별적으로 변환하기 위한 수단; 상기 다른 그룹이 변환되는 동안 상기 디지털 값의 변화된 그룹을 위해 상기 아날로그 신호값을 저장하기 위한 수단; 및 상기 전체 소정 수의 디지털 값을 대표하는 아날로그 신호값을 형성하도록 상기 하나의 그룹과 상기 다른 그룹에 대해 상기 아날로그 신호값을 결합하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 캐패시터 디지털 대 아날로그 변환기.
