제4도는 제1도 중 액정표시용 집적회로의 다른 실시예를 나타낸 구성설명도.

Claims (3)

  1. 도트매트릭스방식 액정표시기(10)에 있어서, 일정한 방향으로 배열된 화소군의 각 화소에 대응하여 인가하기 위한 복수의 화소구동신호를 출력단자군으로 병렬로 출력하는 액정표시용 집적회로에 있어서, 외부로에서 입력하는 도트매트릭스방식 액정표시기용의 표시용 데이터에 대하여, 상기 일정한 방향으로 배열된 화소군 중 기수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 표시용 데이터를 선택하는 기수/우수 데이터선택수단(30~34)과, 이 기수/우수 데이터선택수단에 의해 선택된 표시용 데이터를 화소구동신호로 변환하여 출력하는 화소구동신호출력수단(35, 36)을 구비하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시용 집적회로.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기수/우수 데이터 선택수단은 외부에서 입력된 도트매트릭스방식 액정표시기용의 표시용 데이터의 기록·독출이 수행되는 랜덤·악세스·메모리(30)와 이 랜덤·악세스·메모리의 어드레스를 선택하는 어드레스디코우더(31), 이 어드레스이코우더로 어드레스신호를 입력하는 어드레스카운터(32), 외부에서 주어진 어드레스데이터 및 기록데이터를 수취하여 상기 어드레스카운터의 입력 및 상기 랜덤·악세스·메모리의 기록입력으로서 인가하는 인터페이스회로(33), 상기 표시용 데이터입력중 상기 기수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 표시용 데이터 또는 우수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 표시용 데이터를 선택하도록 상기 인터페이스회로를 제어함과 동시에 인 인터페이스회로에 의해 선태된 표시용 데이터에 대응하여 기록어드레스를 출력하도록 상기 어드레스카운터를 제어하는 제어회로부(34)를 구비하고, 상기 화소구동신호출력단은 상기 랜덤·악세스·메모리로부터 독출된 상기 기수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 표시용 데이터를 래치하는 래치회로(35), 이 래치회로의 래치 데이터를 화소구동신호로 변환하여 상기출력단자군으로 출력하는 화소구동회로(36)를 구비하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시용 집적회로.
  3. 일정한 방향으로 배열된 화소군 중에 기수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 제1의 전극단자군과 우수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 제2의 전극단자군이 양측단부로 분리형성된 도트매트릭스방식 액정표시기(10)와, 외부에서 입력하는 도트매트릭스방식 액정표시기용의 표시용 데이터에 대하여, 상기 기수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 표시용 데이터를 선택함과 동시에 화소신호로 변환하여 출력단자군으로 병렬로 출력하여, 상기 제1의 전극단자군으로 인가하는 제1의 액정표시용 집적회로(111), 마찬가지로 상기 도트매트릭스방식 액정표시기용의 표시용 데이터입력에 대하여, 상기 우수번째의 각 화소에 대응하는 표시용 데이터를 선택함과 동시에 화소구동신호로 변환하여 출력단자군으로 병렬로 출력하여, 상기 제2의 전극단자군으로 인가하는 제2의 액정표시용 집적회로(112)를 구비하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
