Abstract

본 발명은 하기 일반식(1)의 광 가교결합성 액정 화합물, 상기 화합물을 함유하는 액정 혼합물 및 이들을 가교결합된 상태로 광학 소자에 사용하는 용도에 관한 것이다 :

  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, X1, X2및 X3가 수소, 불소, 염소, 시아노 및 메틸인 화합물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하기 화학식 1-A인 화합물:

  8. 제7항에 있어서, 하기 화학식 1-d 내지 화학식 1-g의 화합물;
    상기 식에서, R34는 시아노 또는 알콜시카보닐이고; X1, X2및 X3는 수소이고; s′는 제7항에서 정의된 바와 같다.
  9. 하나 이상의 성분이 제1항에서 정의한 화학식(1)의 화합물인, 2개 이상의 성분을 포함하는 가교결합성 액정 혼합물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 화학식(1)의 화합물뿐아니라 하기 화학식(2) 내지 화학식(9)의 화합물 중의 하나 이상의 화합물을 포함하는 가교결합성 액정 혼합물:
    상기 식에서, X는 수소, 불소, 염소, 브롬 또는 메틸이고; s′은 3 내지 12의 정수이고; t는 2 내지 12의 정수이고 Z는 -OCH2- 또는 -OOC-이고; A는 1,4-페닐렌 또는 2- 또는 3-플루오로-1,4-페닐렌이고; S는 -(CH2)s- 또는 -(CH2)|sO-이고; R은 CH2=CH-COO-, CH2=C(CH3)-COO-, CH2=CH-O- 또는이다.
  11. 가교결합된 상태의 제1항 내지 제8항 중 임의의 한 항에 따른 화합물의 광학 성분을 위한 용도.
  12. 가교결합된 상태의 제9항 내지 제10항에 따른 가교결합성 액정 혼합물의 화학성분을 위한 용도.
