Abstract
본 발명은 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 광 가교결합성 액정 화합물, 상기 화합물을 함유하는 액정 혼합물 및 이들을 가교결합된 상태로 광학 소자에 사용하는 용도에 관한 것이다:
상기 식에서, A1및 A2는 각각 가교결합성 메조상 형성(mesogenic) 잔기이고, A3는 (R,R)- 또는 (S,S)-트란스-1,2-사이클로헥실-디일이다.

Claims (10)
- 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물:상기 식에서, A1및 A2는 각각 가교결합성 메조상 형성(mesogenic) 잔기이고, A3는 (R,R)- 또는 (S,S)-트란스-1,2-사이클로헥실-디일이다.
- 제1항에 있어서 상기 메조상 형성 잔기 A1및 A2가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 잔기인 화합물:상기 식에서, 고리 C 및 D는 각각 독립적으로 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 트란스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 트란스-1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일 또는 할로겐, 메틸 및/또는 시아노로 임의로 치환된 1,4-페닐렌이고: Z1은 -(CH2)m-, -CO-, -(CH2)mCO- 또는 -(CH2)mOOC-이고; Z2는 단일결합, -CH2CH2-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -COO-, -OOC-, -(CH2)4-, -O(CH2)3-, 또는 -(CH2)3O이고; Z3는 -(CY2)m-, -O(CY2)m-, -(CY2)mO-, -(CY2)mCOO-, -(CY2)mOOC-, -(Si[(CH3)2]O)m-, -OCH2(Si[(CH3)2]OmSi[(CH3)2]-CH|2O- 또는 -NHCH2(Si[(CH3)2]O)mSi[(CH3)2]CH|2NH-이고; Y는 수소 또는 불소이고; n은 0, 1 또는 2이고; m은 1 내지 16의 정수이고; R1은 CH2=CH-, CH2=CH-COO-, CH2=C(CH3)-COO-, CH2=C(Cl)-COO-, CH2=C(Ph)-COO-, CH2=CH-COO-Ph-, CH2=CH-CO-NH-, CH2=C(CH3)-CONH-, CH2=C(Cl)-CONH-, CH2=C(Ph)-CONH-, CH2=C(COOR')-CH2-COO-, CH2-CH-O-, CH2=CH-OOC-, Ph-CH=CH-, CH3-C(=NR´)-, 시스, 트란스 HOO-CR´=CR´-COO-,또는의 구조를 갖는 가교결합성 그룹이고; Ph는 페닐이고; R´은 저급 알킬이고; R˝은 메틸, 메톡시, 시아노 또는 할로겐이나, 단 R1-Z3는 -O-O- 또는 -N-O- 그룹을 함유하지 않는다.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 메조상 형성 잔기 A1및 A2가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 잔기인 화합물:상기 식에서, 고리 C 및 D는 각각 독립적으로 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 트란스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 트란스-1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일 또는 할로겐, 메틸 및/또는 시아노로 임의로 치환된 1,4-페닐렌이고: Z1은 -CH2-, -CO-, -(CH2)3- 또는 -(CH2)2CO-이고; Z2는 단일결합, -CH2CH2-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -COO-, -OOC-, -(CH2)4-, -O(CH2)3-, 또는 -(CH2)3O이고; Z3는 -(CY2)m-, -O(CY2)m-, -O(CY2)mO-, -(CY2)mCOO-, -(CY2)mOOC-, -(Si[(CH3)2]O)|m-, -OCH2(Si[(CH3)2]O)mSi[(CH3)2]-CH2O- 또는 -NHCH2(Si[(CH3)2]O)mSi[(CH3)2]CH2NH-이고; Y는 수소 또는 불소이고; n은 0 또는 1이고; m은 1 내지 16의 정수이고; R1은 CH2=CH-, CH2=CH-COO-, CH2=C(CH|3)-COO-, CH2=C(Cl)-COO-, CH2=C(Ph)-COO-, CH2=CH-COO-Ph-, CH2=CH-CO-NH-, CH2=C(CH3)-CONH-, CH2=C(Cl)-CONH-, CH2=C(Ph)-CONH-, CH2=C(COOR´)-CH2-COO-, CH2=CH-O-, CH2=CH-OOC-, Ph-CH=CH-, CH3-C(=NR´)-, 시스, 트란스 HOO-CR´=CR´-COO-,또는의 구조를 갖는 가교결합성 그룹이고; Ph는 페닐이고; R´은 저급 알킬이고; R˝은 메틸, 메톡시, 시아노 또는 할로겐이나, 단 R1-Z3는 -O-O- 또는 -N-O- 그룹을 함유하지 않는다.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 메조상 형성 잔기 A1및 A2가 동일인 화합물.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 잔기 A1및 A2가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ-a)의 잔기인 화합물:상기 식에서, 고리 C1및 D1는 각각 독립적으로 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 트란스-1,4-사이클로 헥실렌 또는 불소로 임의로 치환된 1,4-페닐렌이고: Z11은 -CH2- 또는 -CO-이고; Z21는 단일결합, -CH2O-, -COO- 또는 -OOC-이고; Z31은 -(CH2)m-, -(CH2)mO, -(CH2)mCOO- 또는 -(CH2)mOOC-이고, m´은 3 내지 12의 정수이고; R11은 CH2=CH-COO-, CH2=C(CH3)-COO-, CH2=CH-O- 또는이다.
- 제5항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ⅰ-A) 내지 (Ⅰ-E)의 화합물 및 이들 화합물의 거울상 이성질체인 화합물:상기 식에서, Z11은 -CO-이고; Z21는 단일결합 또는 -COO-, 특히 -COO-이고; m′은 3 내지 12의 정수이다.
- 2개 이상의 성분으로 이루어지고, 상기 성분중 하나 이상의 성분이 제1항에서 정의된 일반식(Ⅰ)의 광학활성 화합물인 가교결합성 액정 혼합물.
- 제7항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물외에 일반식(Ⅲ) 내지 (X)의 화합물 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 함유하는 가교결합성 액정 혼합물:상기 식에서, X는 수소, 불소, 염소, 브롬 또는 메틸이고; m′은 3 내지 12의 정수이고; t는 2 내지 12의 정수이고; Z는 -OCH2- 또는 -OOC-이고; A는 1,4-페닐렌는 2- 또는 3-플루오로-1,4-페닐렌이고; S는 -(CH2)m-, -(CH2)mO- 또는 -(CH2)m-이고; R은 CH2=CH-COO-, CH2=C(CH3)-COO-, CH2=CH-O- 또는이다.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 화합물을 가교결합된 상태로 광학 소자에 사용하는 용도.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 따른 가교결합성 액정 혼합물을 가교결합된 상태로 광학 소자에 사용하는 용도.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
