Abstract
본 발명은 하기 일반식 (Ⅰ)의 광 가교결합성 액정 화합물, 이를 포함하는 액정 혼합물 및 가교 결합 상태에서 광학 조영 요소에의 이들 화합물의 용도에 관한 것이다.
상기 식에서, A는 가교결합성 메조제닉 잔기를 나타내고; X는 단일 결합, -COO-,-CH2O-,-CONH-, 또는 -C=N-를 나타내고, Q는 n-알킬렌, C- 알킬렌 1,4페닐렌,4,4'-비펠닐렌 또는 2,6-나프틸렌을 나타낸다.

Claims (9)
- 하기 일반식(I)의 화합물;상기 식에서, A는 가교결합성 메조제닉 잔기를 나타내고; X는 단일 결합, -COO-,-CH2O-,-CONH- 또는 -C=N-를 나타내고; Q는 n-알킬렌, c- 알킬렌, 1,4-페닐렌, 4,4'-비펠닐렌 또는 2,6-나프틸렌을 나타낸다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 메조제닉 잔기 A가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 잔기를 나타내는 화합물;상기 식에서, 고리 C 및 D는 각각 독립적으로 할로겐, 메틸 및/또는 시아노로 임의로 치환된 1,4-페닐렌, 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 트랜스-1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일을 나타내고; Z1은 -CH2CH2-, -CH2O-, -COO-, -OOC-,-(CH2)4-또는-(CH)2O- 를 나타내고, Z2는 단일 결합,-CH2CH2-, -CH2O-,-OCH2-, -COO-, -OOC-,-(CH2)4- -(CH2)|3O- 또는 -(CH2)3O-, 를 나타내고; Z3는 -(CH2)m-,-(CH2)mO-,-O(CH2)m-, -(CH|2)mCOO-, -OOC(CH2)m-,-(CH2)mOOC-, 또는 -COO(CH2)m-를 나타내고; n-은 0또는 1이고, m은 1 내지 16의 정수이고; R는 메틸, 메톡시, 시아노 및/또는 할로겐으로 임의로 치환된, 아크릴레이트, 메타크릴레이트, 2-클로로아크릴레이트, 2-페닐아크릴레이트, 아프릴로일페닐렌, 아크릴아미드, 메타그릴아미드, 2-페닐아크릴아미드, 에폭시, 이타콘산 에스테르, 비닐 에테르, 비닐 에스테르, 스티렌 유도체, 말레산 유도체, 퓨마르산 유도체 또는 신남산 유도체와 같은 가교결합성 그룹이다.
- 제2항에 있어서, 메조제닉 잔기 A가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 잔기를 나타내는 화합물;상기 식에서, 고리 C및 D는 각각 독립적으로 치환되지 않거나 불소로 치환된 페닐렌, 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 또는 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌을 나타내고; Z1은 -CH2O-,-COO-, 또는-OOC- 를 나타내고; Z2는 단일 결합,-CH|2CH2-, -CH2O-,-OCH2-, -COO-, 또는 -OOC- 를 나타내고; Z3는 ,n및R은 제2항에서 정의한 바와 같다.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 메조제닉 잔기 A가 하기 일반식(Ⅱ-a)의 잔기를 나타내는 화합물;상기 식에서, R1은 아크릴레이트, 메타크릴레이트, 2-클로로아크릴레이트, 2-페닐아크릴레이트, 비닐옥시 또는 에폭시를 나타내고, Z33은 -(CH2)m-,-(CH|2)mO-, -(CH2)mCOO-,또는 -(CH2)mOOC-를 나타내고; m'는 4 내지 12의 수이고; 고리 C는 할로겐으로 임의로 치환된 1,4-페닐렌 또는 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌을 나타내고; Z1은 -CH2CH2-, -CH2O-,-COO-, -OOC-,-(CH2)4-또는-(CH)3O-를 나타낸다.
- 하기 일반식의 화합물;상기 식에서, m'는 4 내지 12의 정수를 나타내고 p는 2 내지 12의 정수를 나타낸다.
- 최소한 한 화합물이 제1항에서 정의된 일반식(I)의 화합물인, 적어도 두 화합물을 포함하는 가교결합성 액정 혼합물.
- 제6항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 일반식(I)의 화합물이외에, 하기 일반식의 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 가교결합성 액정 혼합물;상기 식에서 R1및 R2는 각각 독립적으로 탄소원자수 2 내지 12의 알킬 또는 알킬렌이고; X는 수소, 저급 알킬, 불소, 브룸, 염소 또는 시아노이고; m은 1 내지 16의 정수이다.
- 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 한 항에 따른 화합물을 이들의 가교결합 상태에서 광학 조영 요소로 사용하는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 따른 가교결합성 액정 혼합물을 이들의 가교 결합 상태에서 광학 조영 요소로 사용하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
