Abstract

운전자의 요구에 응해서 필요한 지점에 관한 이해가 용이한 다양한 안내정보를 사전에 제공하는 것이 가능한 내비게이션 장치가 구해지고 있었다.
지도정보를 격납한 지도정보 격납수단과 자동차의 현재의 위치를 특정하는 현재위치 검출수단으로부터 송신되는 정보를 근거로하여, 지도정보 검색수단은 자동차의 현재의 위치뿐만 아니라 자동차의 앞길에 존재하는 안내해야할 지점도 검출하여 안내대상지점정보를 생성하고, 안내정보처리수단은 안내대상지점정보로부터 안내정보를 생성하여, 운전자로부터의 요청에 응해서 표시수단 및 음성 출력수단의 양쪽 혹은 한쪽에 의해 안내 정보를 제공하며, 나아가 안내대상지점 조표시장치는 개략의 안내정보를 안내대상지점정보를 근거로하여 생성하여 표시수단에 표시시킨다.

제1도는 본 발명의 제1실시예(실시예)의 내비게이션장치의 시스템구성을 나타내는 블록도, 제2도는 본 발명의 실시예 1의 내비게이션장치에 있어서, 지도정보의 전체 구성의 주요부를 나타내는 블록도.

Claims (8)

  1. 지도정보를 격납한 지도정보격납수단과, 상기 지도정보에 표시된 지도상에서의 자동차의 현재의 위치를 특정하는 현재위치검출수단과, 자동차의 현재위치를 근거로 앞에 기술한 지도정보를 검색하여 안내대상지점을 결정하는 지도정보검색수단과, 상기 자동정보격납수단에 격납된 지도정보를 처리하여 안내할 상기 지점주변의 지도인 안내정보를 생성함과 동시에 자동차승객의 요청에 응해서 상기 안내정보를 출력하는 안내정보처리수단과, 앞에 기술한 자동차의 현재위치주변의 지도 혹은 상기 안내정보처리수단이 출력한 상기 안내정보를 도화하는 도화수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 자동차의 목적지로의 주행경로를 결정하는 경로설정수단을 더 구비하고, 지도정보검색수단은 상기 경로설정수단으로 결정되는 경로를 따라 안내대상지점을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 지도정보검색수단은 안내대상지점으로서 교차점을 결정하며, 이 교차로 만일 자동차가 현재의 경로를 따라 주행한다면 나타내는 교차점이며, 이 교차점을 안내대상지점으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 음성정보로서 정보를 출력하는 음성출력수단을 더 구비하고, 안내정보처리수단은 상기 안내정보의 표시에 연동해서 상기 안내정보에 관련하는 음성안내정보를 상기 음성출력수단으로 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 지도정보격납수단에 격납되는 지도정보는, 적어도 도로접속관계를 링크와 노드로 표현하는 도로네트워크정보로 기술되며, 안내정보처리수단은, 안내정보로서, 상기 도로네트워크정보에 근거하여 도형정보를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 지도점보검색수단은, 안내대상지점에 관한 링크와 노드로 표현된 도로접속관계를 지도 정보격납수단에 격납된 지도정보에서 얻어서 안내대상 교차점도데이타를 생성하고, 안내정보처리수단은, 상기 안내대상 교차점도데이타를 근거로 안내정보로서의 안내대상 교차점도를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 지도정보검색수단에서의 안내대상지점을 나타내는 정보를 근거로 자동차의 현재의 위치와 안내대상지점주변과의 관련하는 개략안내정보를 생성하는 목적지안내 지점정보표수단을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 목적지안내대상 지점정보표시수단은, 개략안내정보로서, 자동차의 현재의 위치로부터 안내대상지점까지의 거리, 방위 및 안내지점에서의 자동차의 진행방향의 일부 또는 전부에 관한 정보를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내비게이션 장치.
