Abstract
본 발명은 수평주사회로의 제1의 검사용 출력과, 수직주사회로의 제 2 의 검사용 출력을 복합하는 논리회로와, 이 논리회로를 통하여 복합화된 복합검사출력을 출력하는 복합검사출력단자가 구동기판에 형성되어 있는 평면표시장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 다른 평면표시장치는 수평주사회로의 제 1 의 입력단자를 수직주사회로의 검사용 출력단자로서 사용하는 동시에, 수직주사회로의 제 2 의 입력단자를 수평주사회로의 검사용 출력단자로서 사용하는 스위치회로를 가진다.

제 1 도는 본 발명의 일〉에 관한 액정표시장치에 사용하는 복합검사단자를 가지는 액정구동회로의 개략도.
제2A도~제2D도는 검사용 출력파형을 나타낸 그래프.
Claims (9)
- 기판과, 상기 기판상에 매트릭스 배열의 형태로 형성된 복수의 화소로 이루어지는 화소영역과, 상기 기판상에 형성되고, 선택펄스를 출력하여, 상기 화소영역의 화소의 열을 직렬로 선택하는 수직주사회로와, 상기 기판상에 형성되고, 선택펄스를 출력하여, 상기 화소영역의 화소의 행을 직렬로 선택하여 상기 화소영역의 화소의 선택된 열에 화상신호를 제공하는 수평주사회로와, 상기 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 수직주사회로 및 수평주사회로로부터 출력된 출력신호를 복합하는 논리회로와, 상기 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 논리회로를 통하여 복합화된 검사용 출력신호를 출력하는 검사출력단자를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치.
- 기판과, 상기 기판상에 매트릭스 배열의 형태로 형성된 복수의 화소로 이루어지는 화소영역과, 상기 기판상에 형성되고, 선택펄스를 출력하여, 상기 화소영역의 화소의 열을 직렬로 선택하고, 제 1 의 입력단자를 가지는 수직주사회로와, 상기 기판상에 형성되고, 선택펄스를 출력하여, 상기 화소영역의 화소의 행을 직렬로 선택하여 상기 화소영역의 화소의 선택된 열에 화상신호를 제공하는 제 2 의 입력단자를 가지는 수평주사회로와, 제 1 의 입력단자를 상기 수평주사회로의 출력단자로서 사용되는 동시에, 제 2 의 입력단자를 상기 수직주사회로의 출력단자로서 사용하는 스위치수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 화소영역의 화소는 화소전극과 이 화소전극을 구동하는 스위치소자로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 화소영역의 화소는 화소전극과 이 화소전극을 구동하는 스위치소자로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치.
- 수평주사회로와 수직주사회로와 화소구동회로가 형성되고, 매트릭스배열에 있어서 복수의 화소를 구동하는 액티브매트릭스구동기판의 검사방법에 있어서, 수평주사회로의 제 1 의 검사용 출력과, 수직주사회로의 제 2 의 검사용 출력을 논리회로를 통하여 복합하고, 논리회로를 통하여 복합화된 제 3 의 복합검사출력의 파형에 따라서, 수평주사회로 및 수직주사회로의 검사를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 구동기판의 검사방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 제 1 의 검사용 출력과 제 2 의 검사용 출력은 상기 액티브매트릭스구동기판상에 형성된 논리회로를 통하여 복합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스구동기판의 검사방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 제 1 의 검사용 출력과 제 2 의 검사용 출력은 상기 액티브매트릭스구동기판의 외부에 형성된 논리회로를 통하여 복합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스구동기판의 검사방법.
- 수평주사회로와 수직주사회로와 화소구동회로가 형성되어 있는 평면표시장치를 위한 액티브매트릭스구동기판에 있어서, 수평주사회로의 제 1 의 출력과, 수직주사회로의 제 2 의 출력을 논리회로와, 상기 논리회로를 통하여 복합화된 복합검사출력을 출력하는 복합검사출력 단자가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스구동기판.
- 수평주사회로와 수직주사회로와 화소구동회로가 형성되어 있는 평면표시장치를 위한 액티브매트릭스구동기판에 있어서, 수평주사회로의 제 1 의 입력단자를 수직주사회로의 검사용 출력단자로서 사용하는 동시에, 수직주사회로의 제 2 의 입력단자를 수평주사회로의 검사용 출력단자로서 사용하는 스위치수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스구동기판.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
