Claims (15)

  1. 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 폴리아미드산 및 그의 이미드와 생성물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 중합체를 함유하는 액정 배향제.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 폴리아미드산 및 그의 이미드화 생성물이 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 테트라카르복실산 2무수믈을 적어도 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 디아민을 함유하는 디아민 화합물과 반응시켜 형성된 중합체 및 그의 이미드화 생성물인 액정 배향제.
  3. 식 중, R1은 4가의 유기기이고, R2은 3가 또는 4가의 유기기이고, R3은 2가의 유기기이고, R4은 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 1가의 유기기이고, a는 1 또는 2이다.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 폴리아미드산 및 그의 이미드화 생성물이 상기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 테트라카르복실산 2무수물, 하기 일반식(Ⅲ)의 디아민 및 하기 일반식(Ⅳ)의 모노아민을 반응시켜 형성된 중합체 및 그의 이미드화 생성물인 액정 배향제.
  5. 식 중, R5는 2가의 유기기이고, R6은 2가의 유기기이고, R7은 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 1가의 유기기이고, b는 0 또는 1이다.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 폴리아미드산이 하기 일반식(Ⅴ)의 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체인 액정 배향제.
  7. 식 중, R8은 4가의 유기기이고, R9, R12및 R13은 각각 독립적으로 2가의 유기기이고, R10및 R11은 각각 독립적으로 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 1가의 유기기 또는 히드록실기이고, 단 이들중 적어도 하나는 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 1가의 유기기이고, c 및 d는 0 또는 1이다.
  8. 제1항의 액정 배향제로부터 형성된 액정 배향막을 갖는 SBE표시 소자 또는 SH표시 소자.
  9. 스테로이드 골격을 갖는 폴리아미드산 및 그의 이미드화 생성물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 중합체의 액정 배향제로서의 용도.
  10. 제1항의 액정 배향제의 SBE표시 소자 또는 SH표시 소자용 액정 배향막으로서의 용도.
